This time, they’re trying (hard) to hide their flimsy critiques of July’s comics “use of assets,” when it leaks out that Vædo’s own use, (including 100% just straight up screen grabs of other IP’s rather than describing his own characters,) made both Vito The Pædo & Juju the Cow look like the utter hypocrites that they are. Particularly when they tried to create a narrative about ISOM being horrible trash for having two assets used, iirc. So, the posts on X start up, the official copescript in hand, to try & hide their ridiculous BS.

Funniest thing to me is Vaedophile trying so hard to act like a leak of his personal work, his heart & soul, is some big deal, which Null ruined for the leaker by mentioning the “use of assets,” shit that Daxipad & Vædo tried to bring down Eric July with, when Vaedo’s work was basically The Simpson’s screenshots & lame TV tropes from every popular show of the last couple of decades, (done worse.)

Also, the entire Daxipad Crew kept repeating that it was “only the first draft,” when everyone can see it’s the third draft. Make as many drafts as you need, never bash for multiple drafts, but, changing out a screenshot here, or an anime sweat bulb there, isn’t quite enough to count as a redrafted version. My opinion on the leak is that Vãedos script barely outlined an underdeveloped story. Character creation & development isn’t usually left completely up to the artist. No wonder the artist has barely drawn anything when he was handed a shoestring & he’s not being paid as a coauthor, too.

I don't think it's deliberate on Vito's part, I think it's the best Vito can do. Remember how bad their pilot script was? And how Juju was ripping into Vito about his image insertions and minimal contributions? Sounds really similar to the comic script.

The premise of this multiverse is that there is limited universe-space, and that universes have to be periodically destroyed or all of reality will collapse in on itself. That's why they send emotionless psychopaths like Sam to kill the "chosen one" of a particular universe, causing that universe to collapse instead of the entire multiverse. It makes sense, it just removes any gravity from Sam's actions.

I'm betting on a plot twist where it turns out that Sam was lied to about this, and that the real reason he's eliminating "chosen ones" is because they stand in the way of the villains dominating the multiverse, and now Sam has to choose whether to side with the villains and go "home" or take the role of "final chosen" and stop them.

And why does Beck want to help murder superheroes when she grew up loving them?

Now this is a HUGE problem. I hope Vedo isn't lying about having fleshed out the character motivations since the first draft.

Since this is an edgy "dark comedy" book, written by an LA-based nihilist, my guess is that Beck is also an emotionless psychopath. The reason she admired heroes growing up is that they got to be special without any effort. That fits with her being a lazy slob in a dead-end job, slacking off reading old escapist fantasies.

Beck's role as SideKick is to inform Sam about stuff like: if you tickle Wonder Woman's left kneepit, she temporarily loses her powers, and then they throw Regular Woman to the ground and kick her to death.

If she isn't an emotionless narcissistic psychopath, then it's going to be difficult to tell a comedic story. This woman is literally forced to murder her childhood heroes to stop reality from collapsing. If she is, then the audience is going to hate BOTH of the main characters.

The art he's shared of the current scripted comic is extremely similar to the script.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's straight-up lying and is scrambling to change the dialogue to own the Kiwis lol

This line stood out to me. I don't really buy your "intentionally bad" theory, but re-reading this part after I finished reading the script stood out to me. Someone in the thread referred to the script as "chuuni" (Japanese slang for middle-schooler genre, aka prepubescent fantasy), it is hyperviolent and gory, and it ends with a flimsy excuse to make Beck's clothing disappear.

Thank you for the spoonfeeding, I guess I should have read the entire script. But I have distractions in my free time like witnessing Nick Rackets drown in overpriced Whiskey for pretentious douchebags. Vedo honestly I don’t like being critiqued myself, people like me can be mean. If I ever do step on your toes always think to yourself “At least I’m not Nick Rekeita!” We can all think that and smile now in relief! Jesus just imagine having a shitty snake tattoo.

But anyway I just have one word of advice if somehow you are able to make multiple issues in this story, multiverses while overdone now can still be effective but stick with one city and have multiple universes. A story’s setting is important, think of NYC in Watchmen, or Gotham. Ultimately this will be up to your artist to deliver on this but don’t do a globetrotting story. Set it in LA, use your own hometown as reference. It saves a lot of time and adds character to the story. Instead of just referencing “The Simpsons” you can use actual landmarks. Just please don’t take pictures of the local elementary school. I know you and MrGirl love hanging out by the elementary school in an unmarked van but it can send the wrong message.
