The general public has been taught "AI will make it possible to fake literally anything, we won't know what's real or not, it must be banned right away!" for years, and this is pulling on that indoctrination to make them ignore evidence saying they're the baddies.

Isn't it a bit like Ernst Junger's writing? Some guys are just built for war, doesn't matter if it's the absolute shittiest situation or trench warfare or abject misery, there's just something about it that appeals. I think a lot of Europe's post World Wars issues come from that group of people being thinned out. Regression to the mean works though, so it's only a matter of time before they start turning back up. It's a bit of a meme, but I think most of us here are Indo-Europeans so remember that your ancestors are the survivors of what were originally Steppe warriors and eventually, as a whole, the finest fucking soldiers the world has ever seen. We only turned on each other after we dominated the world and found everyone else...lacking. Except the Japanese, but they're odd.

The Czechs and Slovaks seem to be the smarter, or at least chiller, of the Western Slavs. I love the Poles, but some times they do come off as kinda retarded. Great pastries though, one of the things I miss being Celiac and all.

It’s a movie from when the left didn’t worship the MIC, and is a comedy about the totally fucked development of the totally fucked Bradley fighting vehicle.

(Granted, it’s better than it used to be, if you ignore all the tons of extra armor that basically turns it into a vulnerable tank that can’t kill anything, but the Bradley still isn’t anywhere as good as the BMP.)

Seeing the Pentagon wars being mentioned is painful in a way. The main character in the movie is based on a real person who belonged to a military faction called 'the reformers', those people are insane.

Funny movie though.

The article doesn't say what it is, but realistically what they mean is "we're going to draft women to clear mines, too!", which is pretty disturbing. Or it would be, if not for the fact that Ukraine won't be clearing these mines anyway. Russia is the only side making advances, ergo all the actual mine-clearing will be done by Russians.

The bottom line is that the draft is going to have to be enacted in many Western countries sooner rather than later and after two decades of "Women can do everything men can do and better!" being shoved down our throats they're not going to be able to exclude them. No time like the present to start conditioning the public to that fact.

Yes and ? what you're point ? The movie is horseshit. For one Bradley was never meant to replace the M113 It was planned from the get go as an IFV with portholes and a 20 mm turret later during development up gunned to 25 mm and other shebang


Overal the entire movie is dramatized and pretty much false historically.
