guys you're hurting his feelings. Please say something nice about the superkiller comic book. I'll start:

it's a really unique idea. I've never heard of anyone doing a more satirical take on comic books. The use of comedy mixed with action adventure is really cool and novel. the multiverse stuff blew my mind. I'm glad that someone out there is making comic book content that is both comedic and intelligent. if you like spider man and the fantastic four, you'll love "superkiller", from the twisted mind of vito comedy

"I could use a break"
This fat cunt absolutely revels in being talked about. He wants any kind of attention, all the time even if it's to be called a pedophile. He shows up on everything comment section and spends hours replying to every tweet. He's 100% reading this thread right now. I can't fathom what kind of retards 1) are fans of him and 2) believe him when he cries about being cyberbullied when he gets off on being called a fat disgusting narking chomo.

I'll be damned. Null was absolutely correct. The book IS supposed to be bad. This revelation is already moving extra copies:
So how does he square this new 'I made it shit on purpose' angle with his other tweets saying he is baring his soul or whatever gay shit it was with Super-Killer?

You can't have it both ways, butterball: either you trolled people out of 80k making a deliberately shit product or you don't care if people hate it because you made something you believed in.

The only break this fat cunt deserves is the one that comes when the noose pulls tight.

This is such a retarded take.
I don't know how a Michelin starred chef runs his kitchen and I have zero culinary credentials, so I can't call the dish awful?
You don't need to have written a comic book to know that the script Vito wrote is terrible.

You don't even need to have read a comic book to know that Vito's script was shit. I haven't ever read one and it's still very obvious how terrible it is.

From what I can tell, Isom is not a masterpiece but it at least reaches mid tier mediocrity.

What I really find amusing is how he clearly chose the storyline to lean in to the "bad comic book" tropes as a JOKE (not a crutch obviously) and it still fails even grading on that curve.

you forgot the last part hiding behind a block chain.

This is the same line every hack creator falls back on to deflect criticism, but the fact remains even if The Room was the only film you ever watched, or Brendan Schaub was the only comedian you ever saw do stand-up, or Russell Greer was the only musician you'd ever heard you would still know they all suck.

People act as if there aren't objective standards for this shit, and even the people who do bend the rules or flatout violate them are only able to do so because they have a thorough understanding of the medium in the first place. That's why it's so easy to spot someone aping a Lynch or Tarantino versus the genuine article.

I'm telling y'all, he's going to pivot to it being intentionally shit to save face and cope.

The Room can't really be compared because it's an actual classic of so-bad-it's-good, and Wiseau was not a giant pussy who had to cope and seethe about it endlessly. Once he got over his initial case of the mads, he leaned into it and rolled with the memes, even though he certainly did not intend it to be bad.

it's definitely not supposed to be bad. He is very proud of his understanding of story structure (his words). As someone who is learning how to write currently I can see all the very basic elements he tried to incorporate, and when I say basic I mean it. He followed the first 5 steps of the 15 step "save the cat beat sheet" to a T.

The leaked script is 48 pages long which is about 2 comic book issues.

This means he has enough save-the-cat beats left for 4 more issues - or in other words - enough for a full 6 issue volume of his story.

I know it's a cult classic now and brilliant in its own way, but as far as film-making goes it is objectively bad by almost every metric.

I think it's a fair comparison though because, just like Wiseau, Vito didn't set out to make a bad comic (no matter how hard he copes) but the difference is Wiseau is so weirdly incompetent he accidentally created a masterpiece whereas Vito is just the boring incompetent where he produces shit.

Having said that, even if he did set out to make it bad, that would only make him even more of a cunt, because while The Room is great, all the movies since that have tried to be the next The Room have been absolutely insufferable.

Agreed; my facetious inflection was lost in translation. In all honesty, Null's explanation doesn't make sense to me. On the other hand, that tweet lends itself to Null's theory and Vito reads this thread, so a post saying "oh look, Vito admitted Null was right!" will get under his skin a lot more.

Fact is he's had his hands on crowdfunded garbage for years. Those red and yellow circles from 20 years ago was crowdfunded. Those black and red cards from 5 years ago were crowdfunded. His alleged criminal activity was crowdfunded. There's plenty more I'm omitting, point being that he was always going to make another crowdfunding project.

So, why comic books? His Youtube content leading up to it never covered comics. His time at Comic Con was spent covering video games, not comic books. None of his blogs or websites or social media showed an affinity towards comics. He went with comic books only immediately after he started beef with Nerdrotics because he was upset with their opinions on the Covid-19 vaccines:

It's only in the immediate wake of picking fights with Comicsgate creators in late 2021 that he'd start a comic book:

Well, that was a fucking lie. Nigger aside, it's only correlated as retaliation towards those creators around late 2021 and early 2022. He thought to himself "I need a new Kickstarter grift anyways, and these guys are making bank with comic books, how hard could it be?"

There he was, sitting there at 2am, ready to get started. Vito knows you gotta start with a big action scene to really get the audience's attention. Give people something they're familiar with, but cheese it up though so that when you pull the rug (literary trick only learnable while getting a community college degree) and reveal it was lampooning those all along comics, you get a real "shucks!" out of your readers.

That's when we get our first subversion of expectations. Instead of bringing you into the hero's world and life, you're brought into the female sidekick's world. She's not like MOST girls, though! Her geeky, masculine-coded interests convey a real rough and tumble "gal" (you just know he calls her a "gal" in his internal monologue). We can't be too woke though, so let's put every funny accent from GTA IV into a blender and make the only non-white character the most one-dimensional scumbag. Perfect, then let's immediately discard him forever. Double perfect.

People need a reason to care about Beck's struggles though, so we're gonna have a montage. She had ambitions and goals, but couldn't achieve them. Let's keep her sexy, but completely available for all the losers. Also, this is extremely boring, so let's dangle jingly keys in front of the reader with Simpsons references and cynical fanservice, yeah. You can really envision her as a real life woman, one you could really beat and then run from the police.

tl;dr: He was going to grift with a new crowdfunding project anyways because his comedy career doesn't sustain his caloric intake. He's going with comics because he got dunked on by Comicsgate in 2021, so he wants to spite them. It's led to the most trite, derivative creative choice at every turn because he has no passion for the media he's attempting to satirize and he has no confidence in his writing to offer a straight-forward comic affair.

This is either his heart and soul, deliberately bad on purpose, or a pathetic grift. I lean towards pathetic grift.

Instead of working, Vaedo commissions another fake cover of his yet to be comic. This time featuring his “enemies” getting beat up by his self insert character.

The leg proportions on SuperPaedo look weirder the more you look. Slapped this little thing together:

While doing so, I noticed his company’s name, Shonen Revolver. A stupid, ghey ass, name for an American company, but Vito the Paedo’s gonna paedo. Shonen is a term for young boys demographic, who Viddles offers tentacle rape covers to.
