People asked if he knew the art was 3d models and he said it wasn't then made a video throwing legendary artists under the bus saying even they used to trace or use 3d assets which is laughable. He did an interview saying it wasn't and people were lying meanwhile he knew and he was lying.People asked for details about the story he wrote and the main character in his book and he basically told them to fuck off.

This is hilarious. July is already having to do 2nd and 3rd printings because demand has far exceeded all expectations. And you argue that's a bad thing. EVS has never done a second printing of anything because when people realized he's a lazy fraud who can't keep any promises demand collapsed. Frog has to be up to his 12th variant cover reprint of his one comic book Cyberfrog: Bloodhoney at this point. Rippa by contrast liquidated tens of thousands of copies of Isom #1 at $5 a pop to deal with overstock. That shit is going to be as collectible as the Death of Superman and it'll take a small miracle for it to even regain the original $35 value that first buyers bought in at.

Still, the problem with all these minute critiques of the intricacies of July's corporate structure, his payroll expenses and his warehouse leasing contracts is that there's no argument made as to why the customer should give a fuck. And this is coming from someone who doesn't give a fuck if Eric July goes broke tomorrow. Also, fuck the concerns of 'speculators' and their trying to game the production system to pump trash comics with artificial scarcity value. From the customer's perspective, the specifics of Eric's business model are just the means to an end of them receiving a comic book. What actually matters is if the comic received is good or not, or comparable in value or quality to what the mainstream is producing or not. Frog's talking points against July investing capital into his business (and capitalism in general) by saying crowdfunding is more egalitarian or whatever stinks of when Ya Boi Zack was railing against Ernst's rejection of crowdfunding was bad because it made comic production 'less fun' for him as a publisher. When people decide to buy a hot dog, do they weigh in which hot dog salesman is having the most fun?

Well it was $35 and the "artist" didn't draw anything he just plopped down 3d assets into the page, the coloring is shit and there's no story. Eric has blocked tins of people who have spent lots of money just for asking him questions about the book. If you ask any artist or writer about their book or characters they will speak about them like proud parents and give you detail about the Universe and life of the character. When people asked Eric about his characters and story he basically called people retarded and gay and he shouldn't have to hold your hand for you to figure out the story and he started blocking people. Some who stupidly spent $500 to over $1000. Fuck that asshole. He'll be bankrupt by the end of the year.

And when he did do videos, they weren't very consistent. Which probably started killing his channel. Sort of the same with the second Isom and possibly with Alphacore too for a bit (I can't remember). It's probable these things caused YouTube to start pushing him down in the rankings. He's been trying to get back to where he was, but it looks like he hasn't had much success.

He may not want to, but he may be better off just starting over with a new channel.

I believe I recall reading somewhere that was supposed to happen in January. But I don't really know how he can. Those toys have to be taking up massive real estate and the talk is that he's still in the red on those, so he has to have a lot left over still waiting to get sold. Made worse if he actually does follow through with that Rainbow Brute toy.

Just remembered, EVS will probably be having to store toy cars soon too. Dude may need to open up a third warehouse/storage unit at this rate.

Tracing is one thing but Cliff Richards used 3d models without even adding any of his own art to it. That's the problem. Alex Ross takes his own photos and makes figures for reference. He doesn't trace. Artists will trace backgrounds but again they will add to it with their own art. Most people consider Greg a joke. It's frowned upon.
