"Prohibited Hunting Areas"
Just be careful, I've been told the temperatures can also cook you and your Pals alive, so you'll need heat-resistant gear if you plan on visiting your forges.Stacking campfires means I can just put a literal flaming death pit between my bases and watch everything get immolated when I get raided.![]()
Yeah I saw that fire Pals can fucking cook you if you summon them. Thankfully just yesterday I ditched Arsox for Hangyu, though there might be an issue with collecting cakes he baked at the base.Just be careful, I've been told the temperatures can also cook you and your Pals alive, so you'll need heat-resistant gear if you plan on visiting your forges.
They literally couldn't see you if you never touched the ground and stayed on a mount before the update.I mean, I was always commenting a crime when I was on those islands(trespassing), I just never got within the guards’ line of sight for them to set off the alarm. Maybe the trespassing part wasn’t happening for some people.
I can confirm they definitely could see you, I would intentionally fly right in front of them and the models would track my movement even though I wasn't "trespassing". Flying was keeping the "trespassing" flag from being set, and if I had to guess why, the player on a mount internally was treated as a different entity than "the player" and when they were putting the flag in "mounted player" was an entity they forgot to program as "will trip this flag".They literally couldn't see you if you never touched the ground and stayed on a mount before the update.
I prefer them with Work Slave in place of Swift. My guild mate is an absolute mad lad

While I would love to take credit for him, he was actually a gift from another player, who also left me this little guy:My guild mate is an absolute mad lad

Desert Emperor is a passive exclusive to anubis in the wild specifically the alpha variant.I prefer them with Work Slave in place of Swift.
However I only have one of those and now the most recent patch seems to have broken Anubis and every egg is coming out with a Tier 3 effect neither parent had called Desert Emperor or something like that. It's a nice effect and when I start breeding Anubis for combat it'll be handy but I want a perfect mining corp first.
Not anymore, every egg I hatched is popping out with it despite neither parent having it.Desert Emperor is a passive exclusive to anubis in the wild specifically the alpha variant.
Well, now the ones I have are "rare and unobtainable" (without mods), so it was a good thing I made sure to catch them all. Though if they didn't intend to fix it, they may intend on giving us another way to do so in the future.
I just said it more colloquially. The trespassing state doesn't have anything to do with whether the NPC's can see you, I know.I can confirm they definitely could see you, I would intentionally fly right in front of them and the models would track my movement even though I wasn't "trespassing". Flying was keeping the "trespassing" flag from being set, and if I had to guess why, the player on a mount internally was treated as a different entity than "the player" and when they were putting the flag in "mounted player" was an entity they forgot to program as "will trip this flag".
What do people mean by "alpha variant" exactly? The boss ones?Desert Emperor is a passive exclusive to anubis in the wild specifically the alpha variant.
