Somewhere around a year ago, Nick did a stream where he talked about anti-SLAPP and his overall strategy. He knows Monty doesn't have any money. But Nick's genius plan is to get a judgement against Monty and then use that judgement forever-more to control what Monty can do. Nick would be able to use the judgement in all sorts of ways to get into Monty's business, examine his finances and prevent him from doing bad things on the internet.

One of Nick's big fantasies was that Monty's ability to sue people represented a great threat to everyone on the internet. That if Nick had a judgement against Monty, he would be able to protect everyone on the internet from Monty forever.

Of course none of that was true and none of that made any real sense. Monty wasn't any sort of serial litigant on the internet. But these fantasies were all tied up into Nick's bigger fantasy that he could grow his audience and make alot of money from being sued by Monty. He expected it to be Vic 2.0 or Maddox 2.0. Something that he could make serious money off and constantly mine for content.

But all he will likely accomplish in this case regardless of the outcome is wasting a tremendous amount of money.
