Rackets was lucky early on. It would also make sense with the extreme identity shift she’s done in the past five years. Nick can claim he hasn’t changed all he wants, but that’s definitely not the case for Kay. Regardless of whether you think shes a legit degen, or Nick is bullying her into it, she’s had whiplash inducing pubic identity shift the last five years. This usually means she’s either got a very malleable, shiftable core (not good for mental stability and very BPD) or she has felt pressured to change her identity by hubby. Either option will result in mental issues and relationship strife.

Besides some serious disease /physical health issue in an immediate family member, nothing else makes a lot of sense with what we currently see and is alluded to.

If a family member was ill I don’t think Nick would hide it. Nick’s streams have endless toasts for dead dads and cancer battling sisters, so an ill family member would rally support. Whatever is going on Nick thinks it would reflect poorly on him or deems it embarrassing, so it’s a verboten topic.

The things most likely to fit that description, besides admitting substance addictions, are psychiatric or marriage problems. Of course Nick always claims his marriage is fine, but all his actions indicate the opposite. He wants to do streams focused on “relationships,” constant coomer sex talk BS, American Beauty so relatable, hot tub stream, etc… I sometimes wonder how much of his recent streaming is aimed at Kayla instead of the audience.

Kay having issues functioning, or deciding she’s going to eat pills and stay in bed all day, would certainly stress Nick the fuck out. He’s enjoyed her handling all the heavy child raising duties for years, if she suddenly decided to nope out he’d be pretty fucked. A nanny isn’t going to pick up that kind of slack. Besides lots of SAHM fantasize about dumping their workload on the dad just so he will appreciate the non-stop work they do caring for kids day to day. I could see Kay doing something of this sort to Nick to prove a point, esp when he started spending so much time cooming online and drinking.
