I’ve long suspected that many of Kayla’s messages on Locals were actually written by Nick. The best example is comparing “Kayla’s” post about the lewds to Nick’s DM to Kalea after he demodded her for making a joke inquiry in chat about Ricardo & Romaine (the two black guys from Hedonism)
Both messages have the same written “voice”, style, & tone (despite Nick’s being more angry)
Both start out by saying they aren’t stupid or retarded, then go into how people will do this or that & have their own narrative, both emphasize not caring what others think or say, although obviously caring a lot.
Another comparison would be this one, while Kayla was responding to Cynthia which does sound a
lot like Kayla:
Kayla has responded to criticism with the "Sweetie, you can't criticize me" approach before in regards to her seemingly un-Christian behavior
(omitted here to prevent religious debate), and being catty isn't exclusive to Nick and neither is being defensive over dumb behavior. The message above has the same copes that were commonplace in other members Nick's Locals who were married that were criticized for sharing lewds: consenting adults having harmless adult fun. Again, not a cope exclusive to Nick, and their talking points were reminiscent of articles in defense of cuckoldry in an attempt to normalize their behavior. This includes not caring what other's think, it being harmless fun/not hurting anyone, and having a personal definition of monogamy/marriage/sexual behavior while keeping a defensive tone.
This is the culture and mindset of exhibitionists, swingers, and such in general which Nick and Kayla have also bought into. Here is an example from Nick's Locals that was posted almost exactly a year ago by a (then) "happily married" woman:
hydropx | yea I am making fun of them and I can be wrong, but one thing I know I am not wrong about is a women showing her ass and claiming she is happily married |
EgalitarianBtch | I showed my ass, but actually my husband showed my ass first. We are happily married. We don’t cheat, we don’t betray each other. He’s my best friend. Our relationship may not be what you or anyone else wants. And I’m not here to shame that. But shaming others when you’re not married yourself is just… inexplicable. Nobody has posted ass in this chat in a long while and you’re still harping on about it? Why? |
hydropx | I get where youre coming from and while I get its great to claim to e happily married, IMO and im sure most agree, its not normal to claim to be happily married and show your ass |
EgalitarianBtch | What even is “normal”? And why does it matter? The beautiful thing about relationships is if you don’t want to show your ass to others, you don’t have to. If you don’t want your girlfriend to show her ass, find a woman who has no interest in it. Relationships are tailor made to two people and what those two people want and like. |
Even though EgalitarianBtch's husband posted her bum first, her response was to fully engage and defend the behavior until she was shamed into not posting (on Locals anyway). Kayla, conversely, posted her bum first after pestering Nick to do so and her response was to fully engage and defend the behavior until she was shamed into not posting (on Locals anyway). They were both obviously proud of their body and enjoyed the attention from others outside their marriage (excepting the dang Kiwi Farms of course) to the extent that they tried to make it sound like lewdposting was some kind of artistic virtue that symbolizes the strength of their marriage. In a way it does symbolize the strength of their marriage, just not in the way that they think it does.
EgalitarianBtch is currently engaged in divorce proceedings with her husband by the way.
TL/DR: Most likely that the official statement from Kayla was a joint effort between her and Nick, but the principles are still present in Kayla's actions and words elsewhere, and having her lolyer/social media expert husband draft the document for her demonstrates collusion more than anything. Some women don't have to be told by their husbands to post lewds for attention in a sexually-charged online environment (those women know what they're doing). Nick
and Kayla's official position over the last while has been, and likely always will be, the same cope of any other married couple engaging in these practices until something goes wrong.
