Agreed, but I think I've seen it all when someone claims a Pokégirl having a major role in a core-series game might mean something more than the fapbait they become seconds after they're revealed in a trailer.

To be fair, if we're talking about Gen 7, there was massive speculation at the start that many characters were secretly going to be Ultra Beasts in disguise, since many shared similarities to them visually. If that were the case, there could have been a plot reveal that Lillie was a bad guy or a stalker child UB all along at some point, maybe even pointing out that UBs have been hiding among us for years before.
Of course, that would take a competent writer to pull off, of which Gamefreak has none. They know where the money is at, and that would be the coom.

Instead, we get an actual Pokémon being the first core-series game antagonist, with a boss battle in Ultra Megahallway that people still have to cheese, even in a casual playthrough.

I do like the fact since we know they aren’t going to do completely new starters and we are in Franch our starters are all but confirmed to be Snivy, Piplup and Torchic

It's about time we just started reusing old pokemon rather than adding dozens of useless or straight up OP ones every gen, there is never any middle ground with those since I would say Gen 6. GC games don't add any new pokemon, unless you count the shadow variants, and those games are just fine.
Regional variants I am okay with, it feels nice to breathe some new life into some of these Pokemon and give the region it's own flavor while we're at it.

It’s honestly why I’m ok with them Dexiting ever game. We don’t need to use or see the same pokemon every game. Also one of the reasons I like Legends and the GC games. They are able to make an entire region and plot and story out of old Pokemon. And I’m glad Legends look like it will stick around.

Problem with dexit is that the Pokemon aren't in the code, which they should be. Many pokemon weren't native to Alola but you could still transfer them via Bank to your game, and there is no reason why this shouldn't be the case with Gen 8 and 9.
Only two reasons as to why would be:
1) Laziness
2) They want to sell you the rest of the pokemon via DLC(and even then you don't have a complete set by the end of the season pass)
This is the bare minimum maintenance required of Gamefreak so that fans who have an entire collection of them(which the franchise at one point incentized collecting, mind you) can play around with them.
This is not the issue of "I can't transfer my Stantler!", it's that "Gamefreak is so lazy they can't even let me transfer Stantler even tho it would quite literally require bare minimum on their part"
Oh, and removing moves, much more important part of the games, as well as lying about the reasons for Dexit, didn't help either. Dumb motherfucker Masuda quite literally said that Galar region was "too cold" for some pokemon, and that included Ice pokemon like Regice. Then there was the excuse about needing to improve models and animations, we already posted videos as to why that's bullshit and N64 era games still beat them at least on the animation front

At least the bad guys in the other games got their karma or punishment for fucking with Pokemon even if some of them wanted to do shit like save the environment (Ruby and Sapphire). TPC tried to make you feel bad for Star, but none of them deserve any pity (especially Penny and the fire faggot). To go back to Nemona, her problem was that when she opens up to everybody, it's too little too late because all you know about her is she's a Spanglish Stereotype from an 80s or 90s cartoon that randomly throws in Spanish words for that ESG. She was never fleshed out like Arven and Penny. Rivals in other games had better development.

The only character people liked was Larry, but that was because he was meme and looked miserable being in that shitty game (and his boss was an incompetent tranny). I don't know anyone who liked Geeta and Rika the trannies or any of the other characters.

PLA also has a mixed couple with a nigger and a white woman from two rivalizing guilds (on island 3 where the Arcanine was the boss fight afaik)

Bede getting manipulated and expelled from the pokemon league, afterwards getting trooned out by jewish grandma

Finally we agree on something. But honestly, I don't mind gen 9. Gen 9 had some really great Pokemon. Which is a rarity in these games.
