Because the good Japanese ones cost $20,000 and require an electrical outlet.I don't understand why people still focus on the European-style bidets when the Japanese invented a bidet system that doesn't need you to get up from the toilet, doesn't take space, doesn't require installation from a plumber, and is cheap.

I actually did buy the upgradable toilet which can hide the unit and put in a spare circuit next to the toilet. But I'm still not likely to spring for the $2000 upgrade.
