Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

What this meant was that developers had to cater to a far smaller and more particular audience. Moreover, not every developer was making a product for the purpose of being disposable.
Part of the problem is that AAA are both disposable and not-disposable at the same time. Artistically they are junk that offer little fulfilment. Mechanically they are dragged out "games as a service" that demand you play for hours a day and do research in between to keep up with the current meta and get excited for next season/battlepass/whatever.

I've seen this dude. To be frank, I think goes out of his way to say the exact opposite of what the common sentiment is just because it gets him attention. In other words, he is a contrarian for its own sake.
It's David Jaffe. Used to be a big name in game dev making edgelord games back on the PS1 and PS2. He's now a retired has-been jealous of games that are getting the spotlight now. He has his own thread. It's tragic, but can be funny at times.

This is my favorite type of activism where you win by not acting, just don't buy their shitty games and you win
Actively and maliciously pirate software you have no intention of playing just so it looks like more people have pirated it.

I'll torrent a game, delete it immediately and redownload it. It does nothing impactful, but is cathartic in a way. I'll also sneed the torrents too for a couple days.

Oh, a lot of big companies have their own internal organizations that mirror Sweet Baby Inc. already. It shows what kind of political pull the people at SBI have when they still get hired anyway. I mean, I don't think Warner Brothers needed outside help to ruin their own games.
It’s boardroom compliance. You can tell the board you trannypozzed your shit all you want, but being able to point at a company you hired is so much more effective on the PowerPoint.

I think we all really do owe Sargon an apology. LMFAO. I await the moment Trump mentions SBI in a speech and the revolt happening against them.
They'll just disband and reform under a different name.
Actually, are there any analogue companies? I find it hard to believe Sweet Baby is the only name in the game.

Where's the thread? I only see one related to his comments on Forspoken

A couple, in the curator group I've heard names like "Silverstring Media" and "Black Girl Gamers" which later turned into a company that provides consultancy services.

They're not. Which is why people should remain vigilant. If something about a game / movie / tv series seems "off", avoid it. Anyone who's been to a "Liberal" college is suspect, because many of these exact kind of views are pushed through these universities.

I think SBI is just a visible symptom of the increase in DEI and ESG over the past decade (at the very least).
Pretty much, SBI is just a head of the hydra which got too close to the surface and is being furiously chopped. But this shit is endemic. An Endymion video was talking about how Forspoken consulted with some shit called "black gamers" or some other faggot grift. It's the exact same deal as SBI, but it's just that people are dumping every single woke piece of shit under the SBI brand since it's not anything that would be considered surprising. But that will just allow them to rebrand and slither away, the curation thing should be more of "games with the involvement of X" where X is a list of very specific people that can't keep their fucking mouth shut and ever expanding. Basically, all of western media is pozzed and nuking one company won't change that, it's avoiding all that content like a plague till the penny pinchers recover power back from the ESG horseshit which will "fix" things, and that will only remove the woke, not the microtransaction hell we are in the middle of.

As for Gamergate 2.0, I patiently await for Synthetic Man to autistically waddle into the battlefield supported by Asmongolds cockroach brigades.

Gotta admit its annoying to see people in the steam group post "I hate homos / want them exterminated" or other crap. Not because I have an immense disagreement, but because its so obvious that post like that are being watched like a hawk, to be used as an excuse for "SEE!!! ITS JUST A HATE PAGE!!!" type thing to justify pulling it.
Even if people actually think that, only trolls would post that there. Post that shit here FFS, not on a page you KNOW is being targeted like hell right now. I think SBI stopped the "its not that bad guys, leave SBI alone" tactic, and would rather shit post to shut it down.
Its very obvious SBI has the eye of sauron on the group, so why give it ammo.

Besides that, glad to see the group blow up in popularity, and since SBI is so butthurt about it, you know its good.
I'm really glad the striesand effect is working quite well with this one. (really I hope the guy who managing it can handle it, that's a LOT of people to manage in a group)
Hopefully SBI doesn't have their way, but even if they do, theres enough eyes on this, it will backfire.
That assumes SBI isn't posting that shit under alts to get the group shutdown.

One take I heard is that these people don't actually give a shit about the "ideology" and it's just a grift. The ideology is just used to weasel their nepotism friends in, and crybully anyone who tries to fire/expose them. It doesn't matter how much they destroy/ruin in the process, they just want free/easy pay checks.

If this is true, anyone who said "if we'd just ignored Anita Sarkeesian, she'd have no career" -were dead wrong and coping.

Maybe at the very top level, but there's lots of "true believers" who see "fixing problematic media" as not only morally correct, but an enjoyable hobby. It's like a perverted version of a car restoration, where they're delighting in righting all the perceived wrongs with a script or story.

Can confirm there's been several characters in that group that particularly glowed. Maybe you could call them alts, if they're working together with some 3 letter agencies.
When you have literal people sneaking in to post "88" and "Heil Hitler" stuff, going off on a completely racist tangent.. whilst having a privated profile and a sketchy avatar. You can probably assume a strong glow.
