That was a well edited interview. My only minor nit pick is that a lot of the clips were just them sniggering. I wonder if Diabetus didn't respond back because he hasn't been very active online lately, he streams now and then and looks like he answers questions on whatever Cohost is - Cohost

2008 was a golden year for the Retsu kahwality and kahntent. I recall around that time they lost their channel for a bit and had to create another to use until they were able to get back on the original. I think some of the early videos on the channel might be out of order because of that but I could be mistaken.

RIP. What happened to the "riff" in general, you found that format everywhere on early Youtube and now it's completely gone. Instead of talking over videos people pause them. Instead of aiming to make an entertaining commentary people just hit record because they are playing a game anyway and it could get a few views.

I don't want to annoy people on the breadtuber thread with this topic so I'm going to post this here.
Before I continue, let me give you people some context about what I'm going to talk about. On Jan 16, Chuggaconroy Aka Emile was accused by youtuber 'Lady' Emily for contently begging 'her' to ERP with him. This would later exudate when more adulations would come out about his ERP escapades that involved a child. You can learn more about the situation here and read from there.
Now then, let me set the mood for you folks. This is going to be a long post.

I've been on YouTube for a long, long time. I've seen many people come and go, and I eyed the destruction of the old YouTube I once knew with my own eyes. I've become bitter because of it. These new e-celebs are complete and total faggots who are nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing. I've also come to realize how fake some always were. But despite all of this, there are people who I still had some level of respect even if I've moved on from them. One of those people is Emile.
I was young when I found Emile. I don't know how I came across him, but when I did, I thought his videos were pretty good for what they were. He was always passionate about the games he showed off and filled his videos right to the brim with info and trivia. Sure, he might come off as cringeworthy to some, but to me, there's a certain charm about a guy with a child-like wonder sharing his love for video games. And it made him more real them 99% of most YouTubers who have come out since 2016. He was just (to put it in a cringy Reddit way) wholesome.
So when I heard from a telegram grope about his RP sections, I thought it was a joke. "This guy is too autistic for that kind of shit," I thought to myself. Then, I saw that the allegations were featured on this website. I was shocked, to say the least. Usually, I wouldn't give two fucks about some YouTuber faggot getting exposed for weird shit. One less cock sucker on this website, I say. But this hit me differently. I feel a mixture of sadness and denial about the whole thing. I feel saddened by the fact a YouTuber I assumed to be wholesome was shown to be into some weird shit. I'm somewhat in denial because I cannot process all those screenshots of him asking for feet RP to be him. It's a bit upsetting, to be honest. To watch someone you thought to be some innocent dorky autist be exposed and dragged through the mud. It's not easy. In some way, I feel like a small part of my childhood died that day.
I used to believe some YouTubers were pure of heart. Used to.

I empathise with the rest of your post, Emile's Fire Red let's play was the first piece of online media I ever watched, but this part here bugs me. When did we start assuming autists were heckin wholesome 100 babies who never think about sex? The guy plays Nintendo games for a living and while I'd assume that'd mean he'd never have sex, it doesn't mean he can't have some weird perversions. I think this is part of a bigger issue of people assuming those with mental conditions or developmental disorders are heckin wholesome smol beans who need to be protected/talked down to and don't experience sexuality or never think yucky thoughts.

Jesus fucking christ this guy. Even the most turbo of all turbo cancers you have at least a month. IF you have a day, you are likely too sick/fucked up to go see a doctor. The "Oh fuck" short term shit is usually 6 months because that's when it bad enough you have to see a doctor. Anything worse, you're usually too far gone to even bother.

I mean if I had to guess what happened someone he respected enough to listen too pointed out his dumb larping wasn't fooling anyone and being embarressed he decided to delete everything but being a massive dramatic bitch he couldn't do it quietly and did this instead.

Slowbeef just dropped a 15 minute audio statement basically saying TDI is a pathological liar.
  • About a decade ago, SB and TDI talk with each other on AIM, TDI tells Beef that his body was "riddled with cancer." SB asked his name, and TDI says he's "Been in so much combat" he's "forgotten his name, but it's Caleb Cross."
  • Id starts posting about being in a PMO, stories that ranged from him one-shotting a guy rushing at him with an axe to killing a child.
  • TDI's wife began posting stories of her husband, where he gets in a bar fight and yells "BOSS FIGHT MOTHERFUCKERS" and beats up 4 people and stands up for his queer daughter. Beef admits that he believed it in the moment.
  • He gets up to 2019, when TDI's daughter dies. Beef talks about entering the discord and seeing a new user named Hikkiari updating the users on the situation. Beef verbalizes the million dollar question: "If your best friend's kid just died, why are you posting about it on a gaming Discord?"
  • Ex-Discord members told Beef a totally different account of events where TDI was on a plane to get to his daughter in time before he died and he was talking about hijacking the plane to make it, and he had to be talked down.
  • Beef basically cut off ties after the Daughter saga, and only felt the need to speak up now at the announcement of Id's "death".

Slowbeef then also linked a twitter account that compiled evidence of times he was clearly bullshitting, contradicting himself, or stealing images to use for his fake family: HmImThinking (Nitter link) (archive) Basically the smoking gun that's been sitting around for almost 5 years.

I was looking back for some of his posts in this thread, I just realized this one. He was watching 24 when he posted this, the second posts are literally a scene in 24 where they send a bad guy in to get info and it goes south. and the first post gives away that he already had that on his mind. He's like chris chan, he consumes media all day and then warps fiction into his own life. The cancer shit probably came from breaking bad.

That's a good point, and seems like something ID would do just so he can drum up sympathy/attention, then make a glorious redemption story where he was in the hospital on his death bed. He was minutes away from dying, but suddenly got an encrypted message from the Ukraine resistance that his wife was captured behind enemy lines because she was so sad at his passing she could only destroy 29 out of 30 tanks with nothing but a combat knife, so Putin captured her and is personally going to execute her in 72 hours. It gives ID the strength to punch the Covid out of his body and airdrop into Russia to rescue her.

Then again, he can just do the same with cancer, and he has a history of lying about it as well...but he might have learned, for once, that even for him, cancer is a bit too big of a lie/it's something people are more informed about because they had family members or what not who went through it, so it's harder to LARP about than his commando side. Either way, I'm looking forward to whatever outrageous and inevitable return happens
