Let's Players originating from Something Awful - ft. VoidBurger, General Ironicus, Bob Kamoc

Probably but I prefer my version of reality where this happened because hiring Chip meant letting VoidBurger get too close to something that was at one point both entertaining and successful and she just naturally ruins things like through her presence.

volitiom always sucked people just started realizing late.

Considering Chip was a lowly editor, I doubt he had a modicum of influence on the "vision" for the company. The rot seems to have been well in place at that point.
If anything working in tech corrupted Josh, literal clones.

Chip is obviously very passionate about games and has a need to be creative but picking volition must've been desperation.

Recently Bob tried to get some random game dev deplatformed for liking "racist and transphobic" posts on twitter. Apparently the developer is a former Bloober Team employee (the company working on a new Silent Hill game) which is probably why this creepy shitbag is actually mad at them:

The content that upset this faggot:

However, the replies aren't very supportive of Bob, much like the internet and society in general with all of his output:

Here's an update that beta cucks like bobvids is trying to cancel over likes they find "transphobic".

Hopefully that Jewish guy (Fragmaster) digs up Lowtax's corpse and finishes all the unfinished projects. Weekend at Bernie's style.
Frag could try using the ReAnimator juice on Lowtax's body, assuming it doesn't produce a horrifying synergy with all the undigested drugs within the corpse.

They might have been queued for some reason? There's a video description in at least one of them that doesn't make any sense to be there if it was someone else uploading.
So all the descriptions are jibberish except the first one which has links to supporter pages.

Well the archive channel "Tobias Rieper" that previously compiled some Spoony and Metokur stuff has uploaded 12 hours of Retsupurea from 2008. I didn't realize they uploaded so much in one year they must of been recording together every week.
12 hour compilation

2023 comes to a close and it's been quite a terrible year for the former SA LPers. I don't think a single one of them is ending off better than they started. Perhaps 2024 Chip and Void can get jobs at Kotaku reviewing Silent Hill 2 OSTs. Dare to dream big.

They were copying the current trend (pewdiepie) of 3 videos a day for a full month. I forget what they called it retsublitz or something. Some great vids came out of it honestly and it was the only time I had a channel I enjoyed being that active.

Haven't seen this posted here, so I wanted to archive it somewhere. Youtuber "Falloutin3" interviews slowbeef about Retsupurae for its 15th anniversary, originally posted on 2/22/23. In the description, he says he contacted Diabetus for it, but got no response.

I recommend checking out the entire interview, it's a thorough timeline of Retsupurae interlaced with classic moments, but here's a list of stuff mentioned:
>BillyMC is married
>BillyMC asked slowbeef to private videos of him
>NAVGTR asked slowbeef to help them with a panel for PAX
>According to slowbeef, NAVGTR was a weird company that threw things at the wall to see what sticks, they came off disorganized (regarding the PAX panel), and slowbeef wasn't sure what to make of it
>TotalBiscuit posted about their PewDiePie video, but he and PewDiePie were under the same network, "Maker Studios"
>Maker asked TotalBiscuit to dial it back, so he reached out to slowbeef about the PewDiePie video privately
>slowbeef and PewDiePie talked years later, goes on to say, "I like the version of the story where we were like, kinda friendly afterwards, so I just kinda stick to that one."
>a guy wanted to kickstart a game inspired by Monster Girl Quest, and used his kids in the promotional video. slowbeef joked about Child Protective Services in his reaction, which the guy said was uncalled for

We're nearing their 16th anniversary on 2/28/23, happy viewing all!
