Actually, yes, that should be something that potential troons should learn before they make a really dumb decision. It seems far too many believe that they'll be able to hook up with the partners of their dreams if they simply refashion themselves into a crude facsimile of the opposite sex. If you look at the code, the guy is modelling categorical variables as numerical variables. I caught myself thinking "hmmmm are depressed and suicidal really normally distributed" and then slapped myself. They are not, unless you were using a numerical metric for degree of depression or something. Maybe that's what he meant (though in that case what is the number attached to "trans"?), but that's not what he said. If they are going to be mitpicky about things that weren't even the point of the paper, then its only fair to nitpick back.

If you can't distinguish between categorical and numerical variables, you probably shouldn't try to make points using stats. The plotting tools in R (the language he did his demo in) make it super easily to explore relationships between categorical variables, so he has absolutely no excuse.

I've said this before, but Tony is painting a fantasy world for his followers (and, I suspect, for himself). They've created a belief system for themselves that is more and more at odds with reality. They can keep telling themselves that the road they're on stretches out as far as the eye can see, but if they don't reckon with that cliff edge they'll go straight over it and the landing will be brutal.
