The crux of the video is that at his core, Nick hasn't changed since his early days of streaming. He's just more comfortable with his audience, and his inhibitions are lower due to increased alcohol consumption.

The creator makes his case by comparing clips of Nick discussing similar topics, but at different stages of his career.

I don't think that he's arguing that Nick's behaviour hasn't changed, as it clearly has (and the video might have benefited from making that clearer). He's arguing that Nick never really positioned himself as this massive conservative, Christian 'Trad Husband' - and the signs of Nicks sexual deviancy were there from the beginning.

I'm sure there are plenty of clips out there where you could make the opposite claims, such is the nature of these types of videos.....especially if you have already made your mind up. If you start out with an assumption and just look for confirmation of this then any conclusion is liable to be biased.

Still, Id be interested in the opinions of the forum. I didn't watch Nicks early content, so I'm not qualified to comment either way. I don't really have a horse in this race....

As an aside, a 'highlight' of the video is clip of Nick's interview with Kyle Rittenhouse, where he proceeds to makes a ton of super inappropriate jokes and sexual innuendos to a visibly uncomfortable Rittenhouse.....then, for reasons known only to Nick, proceeds to tell a horrified Rittenhouse about some anime character with a huge penis (???!). I never personally really got the impression that Nick was highly conservative or particularly faithful as a Christian, but that's not really the point as the argument shouldn't be that his content used to be focused around that (it never was), it's that you can clearly chart his current decline with his highly public denouncement of whatever mildly conservative or religious aspects of his image you might used to have think he had. It's the juxtaposition of it all; nobody would be pointing to his supposed Christian faith if he was merely a crass drunkard, but he's mentioned it numerous times, it evidently previously played a larger part in his personal life, and bringing your wife to a swinger resort is indisputably non-Christian by any metric. Ergo it's about how much of a hypocrite and a liar Nick is.

Furthermore just looking at Nick's streams doesn't really give the whole picture, as he has an entire public persona outside of streaming (his Twitter and other social media presence), and I'd even go as far as to argue this whole "Law Pope" thing would even subconsciously give viewers a tangential association to religious faith, at least in terms of giving people the impression that Nick has enough self-awareness or meaningful knowledge of spirituality to be playful about it (he does not).

I am a little surprised to see it happen this publicly and this quickly, but it was obviously going to happen. Nick Rekieta needs a scapegoat for why his social media presence has fallen apart.

Nick has shown no interest in repairing the damage he did to his channel through his idiocy. At this point we are over 8 months from the first time I remember Nick saying that big changes were coming. That was after the Ricardo & Romaine trip and the MANdy stream. Nick said he was going to stop drinking so much on stream and do long-form interview streams - those stopped very quickly, either because they weren't successful immediately or because he was too lazy to book guests. Nick also literally told his paying fans to fuck off.

Rekieta tells viewers who don't like his content to "please never give me money and fucking leave". He says about his Friday shows: "I wanna talk about Camelot, about smashing pissers, I want to talk about crazy shit, I want to talk about porn, I want talk about whatever, because that's reality for a lot of guys out there, and we know."

I think the only guaranteed money maker for Nick at this point is IBS. You look over at EVS from comicgates and he is making bank. People are ready to have retards screaming at each other again.

There are two options one of which is IBS and the other are trial streams.

In terms of the YouTube super chats, the only months which show signs of life for Nick in 2023 compared to where he was before are the first couple (Murdaugh trial) and September (early Eric July streams including the meltdown one at the end of the month).

If trials are out that leaves one option if he doesn't want to be a sad drunk pretending to care about the articles he is boringly reciting for Ralph level income.

how did we get "her" Steam profile? who had that, where'd it come from? What actually connects the two?

all I'm seeing in the post is the shared name "Mandy" and some vague reasoning that it stopped playing TF2 in 2020 to catfish Rekieta chat, which is a peculiarly specific assumption.

1. Daniel linked the Steam account in the Locals chat. He also confirmed that he used the MkFlower username on Discord in the YouTube live chats.
2. Daniel confirmed in the YouTube live chats that he had been chased off of Discord because of "stalkers", later claiming it was a "angry lesbian From Florida"/"insane lesbian who stalks me hard" and said that he couldn't use the MkFlower username anymore. This suggests it was a woman who was catfished and figured it out and chased him out.
   
   He specifically stated "about two years ago" in 2022 which would be around the time the TF2 account was abandoned. You can check the YouTube video itself if he hasn't deleted the Mandy YouTube account yet:

I would say that many things were in Nick's earlier content. But that people didn't have a problem with them as long as they were kept in proportion and didn't hurt the quality of the show.

He always drank, but now his drinking is clearly at another level and often out of control.

He would offer libertarian opinions on the death penalty, but he didn't do long speeches about how onlyfans is a great career choice for women. Women who just want to take the kids to Disney and who always get rich from being camwhores.

He would talk about degeneracy with a degenerate like Drexel, but he wasn't sharing his own personal degeneracy on a regular basis with his audience.

I would also not accept that he is only doing what he is doing now because of decreased inhibitions and alcohol. For whatever reasons, he made personal decisions to move the show in the direction he did in the summer of 2022. He had a plan for his locals to be about parasocial relationships and shared degeneracy with his audience. When the bottles started going in asses and the nude photos from his wine moms started getting posted, nobody can say that wasn't a major change to the sort of things Nick had done previously.

The other major change is that honestly Nick has lost several steps mentally. He isn't as sharp as he used to be and neither is his content.

Another thing that got him in trouble was the combination of degenerate oversharing but not owning what he was doing. Going to hedonism but then refusing to admit that he went to hedonism. Going to gay bars but then refusing to admit it. He wanted to over-share and at the time have a private life. That will never work.

It can be said that alot of things were part of his previous content as a streamer. But what has changed is the proportion of them and the presentation of them. The over-sharing about his sex life started in 2022. So did his drinking getting out of control. So did him blowing up alot of his long-term associations on the internet such as lawtube.
