NRS just pissed on their fans once again with content nobody likes to play (Invasions). So the next invasion season was originally supposed to be about Quan Chi and Sorcery with the Season of Chaos. However, Ed Boone and NRS realized it was March, so they pandered to their feminist allies with this...

I'm at a loss of words for these skins (How the fuck you do make Tanya look even uglier than before?!), and the premium skins like MK3 Sub look even worse (They ruined my boy Smoke). The thing is despite changing the season for feminist pandering, players still had the Season of Chaos banner up when they opened up Woke Kombat 1. Oh yea, these skin files were always in the game, but they were under the Season of Chaos name. This was intentional, and nobody is happy about this.



And it's confirmed Peacemaker is just reused assets of other characters from XL or 11 like Erron Black and Robocop. The laziness is unreal.
 
tbh, I blame WB for everything. Maybe that's not 100% the case, but it's got to be like 80% at least. I haven't played the game and I ain't gonna, but the actual gameplay seems very well-received. All the bitching is about monetization, delays, wokeness, faddish guest characters, rushing to meet deadlines, etc etc -- things that smack of shit edicts coming down from on high. Maybe management will succeed in driving out all the non-retarded employees and NRS will end up where Rocksteady/Suicide Squad is right now.

UMK3 beats vanilla MK3 hands down. It's still played by Brazilians who hide their scene from normies and woke fags. As much as I love Trilogy, Mugen made better MKTs (Just avoid the ones with anyone from MKX, Guest characters, Shaggy, and 50+ Self-insertion OCs). Deadly Alliance was okay for its time, but Deception was a more playable 3D MK game with a lot of fun mini-games. Armageddon was total shite. The last good MK game was 9 despite meta was a shit show (Thanks Perfect Legend and Ed Boon).

MK11 had some really good designs here and there and were better than the previous two, but MK1 is a whole other level of awful.

What I mentioned above is mainly surface level stuff, but pros nonetheless, that game has a lot of good that never gets acknowledged & way less bad than the shit it underservedly gets. It's also the last time MK had something resembling of goodness in it, it's been downhill since, which MKX could be blamed in a way too.
