Isn’t it interesting how the modern federal government is anti-constitutional in almost every way? Now they’re moving on to “common sense speech control.”
The NSA Spying shit was unironically a violation of the third amendment because there is no tangible difference between a Military and a Militarized Police Force and them being able to listen in on every conversation you have near your phone is not tangibly different from them being forced into your home to live there.

Another one of those "you don't even live in the same reality, it's impossible to get along" scenarios.
Same. But with the Economy, I think its gonna free-fall naturally and not because the Dems are doing a controlled demolition of it.
True, but the moment the orange man seems locked in and they have no more bullshit to play, the media puppets will stop obfuscating. You will get the first real inflation data in years and suddenly everyone will behave like a headless chicken leading to a proper wallstreet crash plus bank runs.

I've recently been getting recommended old Richard Nixon clips and my god man he was the exact opposite of how he's portrayed in satire. It's no wonder journos hated him so much when he was honest like this.
That and he literally shattered a shitload of commie infiltration ops. Probably set the woke-ification of America back ~20 years all by himself.

I've been getting the same videos. Man, they crucified him. The man was brilliant and sincere in so much of what he said.

He held the presidency in higher esteem than those that stabbed him in the back. He, unfortunately, wanted to be liked and loved by all. It was his weakness.

I find it interesting how JFK who was born into an extremely well off and elite New England family is portrayed as much more of a man of the people then Nixon who came from a poor family and was essentially a self made man.

is it safe to assume at this point that everything we learned in school was a lie?

Looks like they are going to try and go all the way on this. (for those with no audio, dems in congress are reviving a bill to disqualify "insurrectionists" from running.)

Nah, they're going to jump onto the offered morsel hook line and sinker - They point out that congress has to do the thing. Now they're gonna have six months of trying to convince republicucks to shoot themselves in the dick to stop Trump.
Congrats on being right & hope it's an autistic struggle to get it done.

History stops at wwII

The narrative of Nixon vs the reality are very very different.

I watched the lex friedman pod cast with tucker about the john Stewart crossfire thing.

Tucker points out that before youtube people would forget sht and that clip going viral changed the game.

Same with Nixon the media knew how to shape opinions and with out the abilty to just go back and see what was said you can play games

Reminder Nixon negotiated the release of all POWs from Vietnam, but the government refused to honor his deal to pay for them (Just like the French did with their POWs) because "The United States does not lose wars" and then they buried the issue allowing for thousands of American soldiers to be forgotten.

Those who were involved in that decision should have been literally burnt alive.

I've seen it discussed as a good thing online, saying that it allowed Texas' law to take effect?

I'm not a lawyer (I have actual skills and self-love) can we get a confirmation on what the right take is?
