Not only did he plagiarize a lot, Todd in the Shadows revealed how much of his videos fabricated information. The video essays created by James Somerton were derivation and trite at best, complete lies and acts of thievery at worst.
However, what has Hbomberguy ever done? He made videos pressuring people to get vaccinated, went ride or die for Anita Sarkeesian, and is the most line-towing cocksuckng liberal douchebag who will smarmily call you a "diet neo-nazi fascist alt-right chud" out of one corner of his mouth then imply YOU'RE the one who stereotypes others out of the other corner. He's a contemptuous sack of shit.
It's always preferable that someone redeem themselves and turn their lives around when they're fucking up (despite the prevailing "fuck this faggot" rhetoric here). What Hbomberguy does is completely forecloses the possibility of redemption in a way that's palatable to normies who think they're above this Internet group ruination bullshit. They all know it's Harry's fault and that's exactly why the first thing they're doing is running to him and assuaging his ego. "No way that video completely altering how everyone thinks and feels about that person, upturning their life and destabilizing their reality, could EVER drive someone to suicide!"
