I hope that GTA VI adds a "content creator" option. We all know that VI will be THE most streamed/monetized video game yet for a time. It's to a point where ANY copyrighted music will get a video claimed because these music conglomerates do not know what DMCA/fair use is. Create a score for cutscenes and interiors like Bully and GTA V did.
I hope it adds an "anti-content creator" option that gets every streamer banned from every platform.

GTA VI is the reason why I'm pushing on. I want to live through the cultural reception that VI will bring. Whether it'll be the best thing since sliced bread or a total disaster remains to be seen.

All the assets are included in the Chop Shop DLC already
They're just making the mission available, and niggercattle on the Internet treat it like a new update

Fun fact: this electronic song is German.

EINS, ZWEI, DREI... VIER, FÜNF, SECHS... EINS, ZWEI, DREI... VIER, FÜNF, SECHS SECHS SECHS ELECTRONIC!

Catchy.

>not playing with classical music and expired copyrights
if we're being technical with classical music, that too can be copyright claimed because while the piece itself is public domain, the recordings of the songs themselves dont fall under this typically. unless rockstar is hiring orchestras to do the classical music for them, which i doubt, many of these are recordings of classical music made with the past several decades.

>not playing with classical music and expired copyrights
It depends. In terms of classical music, there are some intense classical pieces that can fit the mood of heisting or car chasing

I did not know Double Clef FM WAS copyrighted. I thought that was public domain music.
They are. But a lot of newer classical compositions covered by others are also onto different big name music corporations, so depending which piece is copyrighted is very tricky unless if the newer pieces are license free for creative commons purposes

For GTA VI, R* is mandating that their employees return to office work come April of this year. Many people are NOT happy about that decision.

I recall Garbut's son (or whoever) outright leaked pre-alpha or beta footage of VI on TikTok. Sounds like they're just making all necessary precautions to minimize more leaks in the near future. We'll see what happens down the line.

For good reason too. Nobody wants to work for a ruthless corpo, especially when full of people who don't
t know what they are doing

This is the same industry that pushes for DEI while gouging their communities with monetization. There's an internal issue with the gaming industry that seeps from the top down. Forgive me if I'm not committed to their cause of "at-home" work. Also, I feel crunch is based on not utilizing time management skills properly. So, I'm conflicted.

I can manage my time down to the last nanosecond, but when my retard coworkers won't do the things I need in order to continue doing my job and when management keeps arbitrarily pushing back deadlines, my efficiency is just a drop in the bucket. And the bucket has a hole in it.

Remember that R* is notorious for "crunch," if Red Dead Redemption II and Midnight Club: Los Angeles are such examples. I remember R* saying they envisioned VI to be "moderately-sized" as a means to prevent crunch. No matter, it will still sell like hotcakes workers conditions be damned. If anything, the gaming industry and its consumers need to take a long introspective on how/what went wrong.
