Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.

Tim had Anthony Tata, retired brigadier general, & political commentator, as the guest.
Ian & Phil were the co-hosts.

*Anthony talks, at length about his experience in Afghanistan, the Defence Department, etc.: 55:14-1:06:54

Clip Collection:
-Tim offered $1000 to the first person that could explain the meaning of "Eyes of Advice", via YouTube comment. Tim chose two winners, giving out two $1000 prizes:

-When Ian sees the word "code" in the title of Anthony's new book, Ian pulls an Ian by asking if the protagonist screams "Free the code!" & acts this out for us. Unruffled by Ian's exuberance, Anthony explains what the code is:

-I joke about Ian taking on the traits of a 19th century imperialist, with wanting to colonise Gaza, & all that. Ian really adopted the mindset, as he asks Andrew how Russia will take the Bosphorus Strait, which was the great focus of Tsarist Russia. I expected a follow-up on how would Vladimir Putin fulfil the 1000-year dream of retaking Constantinople:

-During the previous episode, Ian thought it was a Mormon belief that you could pay $50 to the father of a virginal woman you rape. But he was wrong, as it was from the Old Testament & it was "50 shekels":

-Tim cancels his ad campaign on "X" over the re-imposition of rules against targeted harassment via misgendering. Tim claims he launched a $25,000 ad campaign, of which $5336 was spent, when he approved of the direction Elon Musk was taking the site, but now is withdrawing that support:

Nani?

-Tim goes on, endlessly, about having kids to "zerg" the Left, but it was Adam Crigler that would be the first beanie-bedecked father-to-be:
Holy shit. Adam may not be as popular on his own, but he got laid and is having a kid.
He won. Tim will forever be a fart in the winds of history at best. Adam may continue his legacy through offspring.
I'll never understand why he does this shit, engagement for twitter money? Surely he doesn't need the twitter money that badly.
Ego.
First I've heard of this. Sounds like Tim is just looking for an excuse to stop wasting money on a garbage platform.
Maybe that's just my hope. Timmy realizing he's bleeding himself dry. Notice how he didn't say his blue checkmark though.

That morning's Pop Culture Crisis episode had Camelot331 on with Bret and Phil. Camelot had implied on an earlier stream that he thought they might invite him on to Timcast IRL, which would have been amazing; I would much rather watch Camelot derailing the entire show with discussions of "slobber pockets" and "the Goomba"

Ian is absolutely correct about this, it'd be a fool's move to say it before the election is over, but right after I hope he pardon's all those retards being held for doing far less than people getting let go for shit that is actually worse.
I hope he does what Vivek talked about doing, releasing the non violent ones as soon as he takes office and review every case after. I'm paraphrasing him, but I'm pretty sure that's the gist of what he said. I completely agree with Ian, I think it was shameless that Trump hasn't seemed to give a shit about j6 defendants until it benefited him.

Coomalot making Tim talk about weird fetish topics would be inherently better than listening to Tim have to talk about anything of actual value with his awful opinions.

Probably the case. From what I hear most Twitter ads burn through cash and get served to people in Nigeria regardless of what your geofencing is. I wouldn't be surprised if this was intentionally done by old Twitter employees to sink the company and not something Musk's team is doing as it's incredibly insane with how it behaves. At least other platforms feed you fake data that seems real at first glance.

For those who don't know the guy has a massive history of flagging people and then gloating about it only to cry when people do the same to him. Guy is a massive sack of shit on the scale of Matt Jarbo and worse.

For some context on this, when Elon Musk took over Twitter, he removed deadnaming & misgendering from the list of abusive behaviour, in April 2023.

Naturally, this prompted much clamour & whinging from the troons & loons. But, the issue died down, until February 29, when users noted the return of the policy to the page:

At first, Musk claimed this would be for "repeated, targeted harassment of a particular person":

But, later, he clarified that this was due to a court case in Brazil, & would only apply to posters from there:

The page has since been amended to include that the policy applies "where required by local laws":

Tim had Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, as the guest.
Hannah & Ian were co-hosts, this outing.

*Tim talks about his favourite topic, himself. In this case, the exchange I shared above. The panel discusses the complications of tailoring a global social media site, when nations begin making laws curtailing speech: 1:21:05-1:32:35

Clip Collection:
-Tim thanks the people buying CastBrew Coffee for fueling the first Branch Timidian shop, where monthly live shows can occur:

-In today's episode of "Not Like That!", Tim calls for people to petition their congressmen to push them to act, up to in-person protests at their offices. Ian talks about arranging a call to action to show how much support they have via calling the offices, but Tim says how that would not work:

-Tim claims he will make any Republican congressman that comes on the show have an Aleppo moment over the 29 May riots outside the White House:

-Ian argues that the reason politicians are not aware is because they are just "normal", "basic". He says you could tell them what to do, & they would still screw it up:

-Ian pre-empts Tim switching topics, by asking at what point does something become a meme:

-Tim explains how he was not pulling money out of "X" as a move to force Elon Musk changing policy. Tim clarifies that it was only a pause on the ad spending, & not making another ad buy, for the moment. Tim says it would be "hypocritical" to single out "X", as Tim uses other problematic platforms & did not pull from those:

-A super-chatter bring up an AI VTuber, named Neuro-Sama. Tim describes an idea to place an AI, with minimal input & separated from the internet, inside a video game like "Skyrim...GTA" to see what happens:

-I wonder if this super-chatter was making a subtle joke, by saying Tim is like The Emperor, in the game Baldur's Gate 3. Also, how dare Tim cut off Ian from saying something barmy:

If you have not played the game, this is The Emperor, an Illithid that protects your character from attacks by The Absolute, another illithid in its final stage of life as an Elder Brain, & main villain of the story:
emps.png

As part of the game, you find out that he was the founder of Baldur's Gate, Balduran, that underwent transformation from a human into an illithid. After "disappearing" to hide his changed form, he secretly manipulated & controlled the city from behind the scenes. Two endings involve siding with him against The Absolute. Though siding with The Emperor in his plans is the more evil-aligned option, as it involves enthralling people with mind control, potentially including the player character & their party.

Bonus Bits:
-Frankly, I can see the resemblance:

I get so sick of Tim insisting his pet theories are the way things are. He's arguing with Dave Smith about the rise of wokeness and intersectionality and his theory is it was all from Facebook traffic driving keywords. Dave, and myself, think it was more of a purposeful effort in response to Occupy.
He has a few of these little theories he unapologetically hawks ad nauseum when the topics allow.

But, later, he clarified that this was due to a court case in Brazil, & would only apply to posters from there:
I don't understand why this faggot cares what brazil thinks. How much money do they actually make off Brazil?
Sure its a lot of people but I bet it amounts to very little actual money.

Tim says its "fixed" but didn't mention bringing the ads back...

Tonight's episode took place in the second floor of the CastBrew Coffee Shop in Martinsburg, WV. While it has been under construction for some time, the upper floors are apparently completed enough to host the event.

Tim had Dave Smith, comedian & podcaster, as the guest.
We had a plethora of co-hosts, with Hannah, Ian, & Libby, joining the show.

Dave seems less willing to abide some of Tim's points, & pushes back on them more than the average guest.

*Tim asks Dave for the most extreme right-wing position he can think of. Dave cites deporting every illegal alien, which has been a plank of Trump's campaigns going back to 2015. Dave does caveat this as more of a promise, as how such a thing could be done is not really fleshed out. Tim claims "They're not making that argument, you are" & then quibbles over the amount of illegals in the United States. By the by, Tim is wrong on the count, as it was marked over 20 million. Tim, then, moves the goalpost to saying that the most extreme right-wing position has no institutional backing, but open borders & child sex changes are government policy, now. Dave concedes this to be the case, & the difference between them, after Tim appended this qualifier: 1:03:28-1:08:55

*Dave & Tim joust over where wokeness came from, with Tim arguing for it originating on social media via algorithmic promotion driving a bottom-up change in people's minds, & Dave contenting for a more top-down approach. Tim rebuts this argument by citing personal anecdotes from his time at Vice & Fusion. Though by the end of it, both Dave & Tim concede that there is some merit to the others' point. Though it took quite a bit of teeth pulling to get Tim there: 1:19:27-1:39:11

Clip Collection:
-We get the first look at the faces behind Timcast memberships, when the camera pans to the audience:

-Of course Ian would know be ready with every form of assorted astrological sign in existence:

-Dave makes a joke about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s turn towards supporting Israel, but it flopped:

-While Dave & Tim talk about the election, Ian looks like he is using a mug for the first time & learning how to drink from it:

-Tim contends that the "full right-wing position" on "X"'s misgendering policy is that it should be "If a person has a preferred pronoun, & you use it, you will be banned". It is more humorous as Tim noted the inability of leftists to understand right-wingers during his discussion of Bil maher not getting that Jack Posobiec was making a joke at CPAC, during his speech:

-Dave says he is not voting for Trump, but is planning to vote for the Libertarian candidate, because he will not "participating in this ridiculous ritual...that is democracy". Tim brings up "No new wars" as a reason to vote for Trump, which Dave rejects insufficient & untrue. Libby asks why Dave ran for office or even have a Libertarian Party, if this is the case. Dave responds that he is doing so to expose the ridiculousness, getting a little annoyed by the question:

This was the rare case of a back-to-back doing-the-meme moment:

This fucking beanie wearing jew nigger this morning still insisting that there's no way the 2020 election was stolen or rigged once again put forth the idea that there's a cabal of democrats, bored and motivated enough in Vermont that they, in the middle of their day, decided to pretend to be Republics and vote for Nicki Haley to disrupt Trump or something.

I feel like changing election laws and cheating at the counts is a lot less crazy sounding than the secret democrat cabal and it drives me insane how no one points this out to beanie.

Tim's plan to create an exclusive "Members Only" social club in bumfuck West Virginia is going exactly as one would imagine it would go. Check out the winners in his studio audience last night.

Was this from his studio or a photo of reddit mods attending a possible unionization meeting for the IPO?
