each thread in faggot chat causes users to appear as random avatars and random usernames

your random username stays the same in that thread, will be different in another

jannies could still see the real you, but nobody else could

allow all unicode emojis as reactions in that board, and have none of them mean anything

yeah I don't want to disable that because if you do genuinely use your stickers as some sort of activity indicator you can just go there to see.

You also can see all that's there when you browse through your posts so it wouldn't make sense, the reaction score is nuked anyway.

Got invited recently to some DM with the entire forum, chuckled and left. Didn't annoy me, but the change is quite understandable. It's also understandable to want most discussions to happen in threads, so more people can participate. Don't necessarily agree with the removal of the reaction score, since it was a good way to agree or disagree quickly without writing something that was not necessary and to gauge certain mutual interests and opinions. Also, some mixture between admin, self-regulation and the community policing itself. But it was also the worst aspect of reddit/steam forums and just reaction farming. But what's done is done.

Could the highlight feature be used for notifications? Something like:
"Your post in thread is performing well/bad!"
Don't give notifs for single reactions, but if your post is getting lots of engagement it would be nice to be notified of it.
