Last night was probably as close he is capable of being able to recognize his ongoing problems and do something about about them. But he still couldn't get close enough to really turn it around. He is attempting to self-negotiate with his alcoholism trying to say he doesn't have a problem with it. That its only how he initiates the use that is the problem.
He accepts to a degree that his body is all messed up. But rather than change things there, he continues with his narrative that he has gotten more healthy and just needs to exercise now. No acceptance that how he was eating was terrible and the drinking most of his calories was a disaster for him. No acceptance that he needs to change basic habits like diet and sleeping.
He accepts to a degree that there is something wrong with the show, but his answer to fixing that is just to spend money and to think of all sorts of projects he might do. No understanding that work ethic is a big part of the problem along with self-discipline.
We have been through this cycle multiple times though and it always ends with him binge drinking and losing all control. He can briefly recognize his problems, but he can't deal with the full scope of them or see the pattern where he falls repeatedly back into alcoholism in a way he can't control.

Rumble has always had the problem of being a cobbled-together pile of open-source/off-the-shelf software that Rumble has no expertise in. Pretty much everything about Rumble except for the look is third-party software, including all the important parts: video hosting, live streaming, chat, locals chat, account management, subscriptions, etc. All of the important parts are third-party software. This is why when Nick was asking for a "mute" feature in locals chat, Rumble needed 5 months to implement it - they have no idea how their chat works.

Most of that software isn't built to run a scale-out "platform" like Rumble, it's built for sites like the Daily Wire, which have more modest expectations and are good at other stuff. There's a good reason Twitch and Youtube have built their own stuff. Businesses generally shouldn't outsource their core competency, but Rumble didn't get that memo while they were brown-nosing the Republican "parallel economy" types.
