No worries. Despite what I said, I can't really turn a blind eye to the fact I have a very strong bias against Arts in general, and abstract arts I see as non-productive - like poetry - in particular. I'm a STEM kinda of guy through and through, but I'm aware that prejudice is somewhat dangerous, since it can make us kinda narrow-minded.

I guess that last part you could apply to all types of prejudices, but your point still stands. I might still associate poetry with un-manliness, but I'm glad people call me out whenever I go a little overboard.

The Arts have a place and stuff like poetry does have meaning and significance.

The problem is that the crucial and key aspects of things like English have been diluted down into meaningless shit, which in turn has transformed our way of thinking, our entertainment, our discourse, etc. into utter shit for a vast number of people. Patty being a prime fucking example of someone whose brain has rotted from constant goyslop and is reflected in how he acts, writes, etc.

Too often folks just read shit by rote, parrot back the 'right' answers and don't learn anything. It's the same thing in mathematics where if you just show the answer rather than the path you took to get there, you're penalized for it. That sort of shit isn't useful, nor is the basic ESL shit that seems to be creeping in (what is an adjective, what is a noun, verb, etc) or learning what iambic pentameter is in high school English.

Arts classes should be giving students the ability to think and express themselves critically, rationally and analytically and should be teaching general skills that can be applied outside of reading a Shakespearean sonnet.

The other problem is that we're getting utterly retarded stuff coming out of academia that talks about the Gay American Hispanic struggle in Samuel Johnston's England or whatever utter post-modernist shit that basically goes 'all ideas are heckin' valid!'

I'm super aware of the state of affairs in modern education/academia, but I'll always bristle at outright rejection of the arts.

You're assuming a single prosecutor in America will look at this and think yeah, I can make my bones on this case.

Yes it's technically harassment. No nobody will care in the least.

Even if one of the pests did slip up and actually get hauled into court, it would go about as well for Pat as the TRO case against Andrew Nadolski.

It doesn't matter if Pat has a slam dunk case because he'll eventually accuse the defendant of being his toilet, child the judge, or any number of other stupid things to torpedo his case. If it were a jury trial, they'd ask the judge if they can return a verdict to hang Patrick.

The timing of the lawsuit seemed strange to me right from the start. The swaTTIngs have tailed off recently, and he just got through paying off yet more debt to Quasi. Seems like a strange time to launch yet another lolsuit. However, it makes sense if Fatrick is worried about his like to Torswats coming to light. Torswat said specifically that the SWAT's were a means to launch a lawsuit against the MPD, which seems like such a very specific reason to give. With Torswats arrest, its only a matter of time before what actually happened, and who paid for the swattings, comes to light. I think this is Fatricks hail mary to try and make some money before it all comes crashing down around his piggy ears.
