Please go read my earlier posts in this thread. I support your changes to the reaction system in terms of separating reaction notifications from others. Where I see an issue is removing reaction score because it was a great representation of whether someone was a user worth listening to or not. Let's be honest here, for one to have a negative reaction score, they must be a troll or a huge retard.

Yeah, but there's a difference between safety with potentially identifying information, and the feefees of users who wanted to have gay furry orgies. Nobody doubts you're keeping stuff like IP info safe, but at least to me, it seems like the changes were made just to mollycoddle a small minority of users scared of getting bad stickers for being coomers or other flavors of degenerate. I don't know, maybe I'm over or under thinking it. Motherfuckers should embrace the tophats and trash cans. Not everybody is gonna agree 100% or even 50% of the time.

One thing I remember that I saw from sticker notifications was that a while ago a user was reading through the entirety of Ralph's original thread. Didn't say anything about it but every now and then someone would get a like on an ancient post making fun of Ralph's gunt and you'd know where he was in history. I thought that was pretty fun.

If it's too much of a pain in the ass though then do what you do.

As funny as it is the Hitler notification shows that he doesn't understand what the notification enjoyers are arguing for. It's not about the points or the asspats, but some people seem to have been using it as a sort of bookmark system because the watched thread system doesn't fit with how they use the site.

Cant say I quite care, I turned off sticker notifications because they can get obnoxious, specially when drive-by posters shat up the more niche threads.

I'm fairly certain I read that I read in one of Josh' posts this was one of the reasons the chain DM's were popular before people started making them just for generating kahntent. The former is an issue, the latter is just mild trolling. I'll try to find the post.
