Warning to archaeology pupils that 'bones can be scary' sparks fresh fears over cosseted generation of students
  • University College London alerted students that history can be upsetting
  • Those studying archaeologies of modern conflict 'might feel stressed'
  • If they do, they can leave class, as long as they copy someone's notes later

Half the point of becoming an archeologist is to uncover badass Skeletons.
This.

I mean, sure, when you stumble upon a massgrave where you find nothing but pic related...

...you inevitably go "Wow... sucks to be them I guess" but on the other hand it's really interesting I bet.

How does even work, in primary (Elementary) school all the way through high school students are taught about things like various wars (Including war crimes such as the holocaust) and the bubonic plague but once they reach university it suddenly becomes so unbearable they have to leave the lecture halls due to stress?
Suckers should just visit german higher education. There's mandatory trips to concentration camps...

Wait until they realize that everyone of us has a skeleton inside just waiting to pop out when we die. That'll spook em.
professor, i can't handle male skeletons
they give me the bone rapes

professor, this graffitti shows straight sex
i am triggered by the rape

professor, this woman is in an unmarked grave
all prood wymmynz are princess and should be buried with golden ipads

This.

Put a trigger warning on that, shitlord.

But seriously though, aside from a casual "lol this might be gross so don't be a fag", why do you need a warning at the college level? Middle school health classes show kids diseased crotches and we all survived that. A college major is basically a career path for life, if you think about it. Or at least, that's the intention behind most majors. Why you would get yourself into a major without doing research beforehand is beyond me.

Nobody walks into their first day of nursing school like "Wait, we have to TOUCH PEOPLE? Gross!!". I thought it worked the same way for other majors as well. I guess I was wrong.

I wonder if this horror I'm feeling for the new generation is the same my parents felt when I start wearing my hair long and dressing like a flower child?

I try to give this little idiots a break as they are very young and thanks to their parents inept parenting skills, they are incredibly naive and sheltered.

Hopefully these retards grow up and see that facing your fears and overcoming challenges is an essential part of being a mature individual. You cant stay in college forever, sooner or later you have to face life as an adult.

The only trigger they should worry about is the one that activates the traps.

Oh and ancient curses too, I guess.

In all seriousness, has anyone actually been triggered or are professors forced to say that now?

I don't know why society encourages coddling people who are old enough to drive, work, vote, and drink.
Because those people are cucks and pussies, and Pajama Boy happens to be their mascot

You know what's really disturbing? I have a skeleton INSIDE ME! Aaaahhh!!!!

Seriously, back when I was in school, the best part of history class was always hearing the gory stories. The one teacher at my high school was really popular because he'd tell you all about various forms of torture, and crazy dictators and shit. What the fuck happened?

...I just wish this was some kind of prank.

This is as dumb as someone studying to be a medical professional, but they are terribly afraid of blood.

How do these twits handle looking at their own x-rays? Or the skeleton diagram in health/anatomy class.

Sad to see this nonsense at a school like University College London.
