Should sticker notifications be brought back?

User base in shambles and it's deeply concerning. Retrain your brain. Research dark patterns. Turn off notifications on everything except direct person to person communication. Look up some reading recommendations on how to not be a screen addict. Say exactly what you want to say without internally hemming and hawing over a notification-controlled dopamine hit. I am frowning at these posts.

Well it's unavoidable given we're in a community that focuses on so many overwhelmingly negative topics that receives so much negative attention. I really don't think the stickers were anything to do with that, it's just the stakes of making a retarded post is pretty high if you talk about stuff that can identify you off site. I was never put off by getting negrated, I contribute less because if I irritate any of you I'm sure some marginal opsec slipup I made 100 posts ago that never registered will be used against me if I piss anyone off.
Yeah we might be talking about different things. Even in an version of this community we'd still have people who delight in doxing obscure forum users if that's their thing as part of the wonderful kaleidoscope of life.
But there's a lesser version of that with people basically playing a role and impeding community behaviour, which is what I thought you meant by talking about your interests rather than opsec. Which I'm not saying is a major issue especially in dedicated subforums, aside from threads being clogged up by redundancy (like pages of people reminding us we don't like niggers on any thread about a game with a black or whatever which is obviously sticker farming or it enabling fags trying too hard to fit in to a debatable extent).

Your point is fair, I could say something about stickers amplifying obsessive dorks but it'd be getting pretty abstract and nongeneral since the guys that can actually make deductions usually aren't so bottom-rung.

No, because I don't check it, because it isn't worth the effort and I don't care about the points. It's nice to see what people think when it pops up in alerts, but as I said it is not worth it to check my old posts 24/7. You are stupid.

??????????? :story::story::story::story:

I changed my mind I'm voting against them. This is a mind-boggling level of self-contradictory retardation that needs to be purged from the Farms.

nigger there are some things that are mildly enjoyable that, if it was marginally more difficult to acquire, i would not go through any more effort to do. an example: there is something kinda shitty but enjoyable being sold for 50 cents. you like this thing and buy it at this low price (low effort). its price is raised to 5 dollars (higher effort). the point is defeated since part of the nice thing was that it did not take much effort.
