Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The position, ships and strategy of nearly every navy in the world needs to be re-thought in the wake of whats going in Ukraine. More than just a Russian problem is going on. There are going to be questions for every country going forward about maintaining surface fleets and if they can be effectively protected.
That needs to happen but won't because the political considerations will far outweigh any strategic or practical ones. In the US for example that would be the end of the shipbuilding industry. The only thing keeping it barely alive now are naval vessels that must be built here because of the Jones Act. Korea put all the other shipbuilders out of business decades ago.

Just saw this story about Navalny’s deputy, which made me chuckle.

Ah yes, the brave Russian freedom fighters!

Im bored, think Biden will say anything about Ukraine in his state address tonight?
Probably something out of a Chris Chan begging video on behalf of the Crook of Kiev. Or that "victory is around the corner" despite the unsustainable losses of the Banderites, but they're expendable anyway if the true plans the West has for that country are to come to fruition.

An amusing article in the new york times about Ukraine today.

Mutual Frustrations Arise in U.S.-Ukraine Alliance

The Times compared it to a "bad relationship" with "the stuff that often strains relationships — finances, different priorities and complaints about not being heard."

The US wants Ukraine to concentrate its military forces on "one big fight at a time" and to stop defending positions that the US considers of no value. Avdiivka is held up as a battle Ukraine should not have fought and wasted too many resources on.

Ukraine wants more money, weapons and military supplies. In particular they want more long-range weapons to attack Russia with and to escalate the war. Russia could not advance if the Ukrainians had more ammunition.

The Ukrainians are frustrated with American micromanagement. The Americans want Ukraine to concentrate on long-range missile strikes to (somehow) cut Crimea off.

--------
Presumably, the US wants Ukraine to stop wasting time trying to keep territory in the Donbas and throw everything they have into an all-or-nothing assault to (somehow) capture Crimea. Crimea has been the constant single American obsession since the beginning of the war and nothing has changed.

it is so transparent US wanted them to take crimea*, probably don't give a shit about who owns donbass, and since blackrock and co own ukraine now that port becomes NATO territory. Won't be shocked if we get a lot of anti-US ukrainian terrorists after this.

Probably try to harangue the Republicans for not throwing more good money after bad down the Ukrainian rathole, and say they're "helping Putin" (as if the average American gives a shit).

If he does that and one of the Republican representatives shouts out "fuck you!" in response, I'll no shit give a standing ovation to the TV/computer screen.
The US Embassy in Moscow issued a security alert on March 7 advising US citizens in the Russian capital to avoid large gatherings over the next 48 hours.
UK also posted the same thing on their website.
There were no reports by Russian authorities\media about any plans or anything tho. Are those threats.

Ukrops got green light on some terrorist attack again?

no idea, maybe some glownigger shit is going to happen as a possibility for the U.S. to get involved. But its hard to believe that they would be this sloppy to make a public embassy announcement about it just when Russia is getting close to Kiev.
The alert in the screencap mentioned "extremists" targeting concerts? Didn't the US already urge its people to get out of Russia when the war started? If this was a false flag to get the US directly involved, why would they use American feds/Ukrainian proxies to target... concerts in Moscow? Who are these "extremists" in Moscow anyhow?

Ask the SBU, CIA, and/or MI6 - odds are they've got their number.

Russian Federal Security Service (successor to KGB for the uninitiated) has been working round the clock preventing Ukrainian-staged bombings and assassinations for a few months now. Their successes do not get aired anywhere (because why would they, the glowies only get in the news when they fuck up), but I think their tally has reached several dozen by now. Occasionally they let one slip, like that bridge pillar that got destroyed by two people with tourist backpacks last week or the dumb broad with a bomb that blew up Vladlen Tatarsky in St. Petersburg's cafe last year, but we have managed to avoid large scale assassinations and/or public acts of terrorism so far.

Tomorrow is March 8, the women's day. People will be eating out and going to theaters/concerts/public festivities whatever. Plenty of crowds all over the place.

I'll just say that if anything happens, I look forward to NAFO and other Neocon/warhawk shitheads tweeting out how Ukrainians blowing up groups of women and girls is a righteous act in the cause of freedom.
