Oh, you can't imagine. Games used to be a way to explore different worlds, new stories, escape reality and maybe stress from work, just a way to enjoy and relax. But now you have game characters reminding you to be sensitive towards fucking fictional characters. In The Evil Within 2 (would have never expected that from a Japanese studio), a side character, a Japanese psychologist, reprimands the protagonist for using the word psycho when talking about the antagonist, who is a fucking psycho. She says "we psychologists don't appreciate the use of the term psycho". Or in Square Enix' game Final Fantasy 14, the leatherworker talks about morals of killing animals for making leather and that many quit the job because it is too much to bear.

The fuck do I need to be sensitive about? I am sensitive to them of course, in the act of sympathizing with them over their struggle and why they fight. The thin skinned asswipes who push pampered horseshit onto actual writers with no experience of living in the actual world have never learned of extreme poverty and knowing that nature is also not all that kind either. FFXI's Beastmaster class deliberately made you fight your newly recruited monster pal to finish the battle. I doubt either than anyone in the worlds of the games I've played tolerates monsters for being voracious terrifying and awful creatures who would wipe out entire communities and prey upon people in the most brutal and slowest, blood curdling ways. Also, psychologists aren't to be trusted either, be it in real life or in fiction. Since we are sperging about the current state of Games in 2024, I want too screech about Guerilla Games. They created the Killzone franchise. That gave us the fucking Helghast.


They then went in a different direction with Horizon Zero Dawn, but that was still a GREAT game despite its woke elements. I really jived with the Tech Bros causing the robot apocalypse thing. And the concept of family and motherhood was genuinely heartfelt and tugged at the feels.

Then they released Horizon Forbidden West.

And too add final insult to injury they made her fucking gay. A complete slap to the face from the other games themes of just how important motherhood and family is. Nah, throw that out the window for a virtue signal about being LGBTQBBQ in the post apocalypse.

It would be amazing, but it'd have to be a lot different. Ralph isn't exactly the type of guy who can pull off a successful kidnapping or, y'know, do anything that required physical activity.

The best way to do it would be in the style of a Law and Order: Criminal Intent episode, where it keeps switching between the perspective of the cops and the criminals. Raina Punjabi, long since given up her dream of making video games after the events of the original episode, has divorced her husband and is in an abusive, co-dependent relationship with Not-Ralph, who has revived the original Gamer Hate Group (K.O.B.S.) and makes terroristic threats while hosting a podcast. He rapes a chick in the bathroom of a gaming convention, and then starts making bomb threats and swatting people. Something cool and exciting to really hook the viewers in!

The big climax is Raina leaving him and helping the police find Not-Ralph and take him down, and she finally returns to making video games again! The Rage Pig, meanwhile, strips naked in a dark alley and wears a rotten pig head as a mask, and starts hacking people with a chainsaw while shouting "I DIDN'T SHIT MYSELF! IF I SHIT MYSELF I WOULD TELL YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" and the cops gotta stop him!
