Things aren't really that bad for me at least, I earn well, have a low mortgage (half the cost of rent for a similar house rn), and my kids school has minimal alphabet nonsense. Crime rate are very low here. You can very easily avoid the drug zombies by just not going to the shit areas where they are.I have a simple question. Why don't you emigrate? Why is this such a seeming taboo, not just for Canadians but Americans as well? While I'm not Canadian from my perspective Canada doesn't really seem to have any future whatsoever, so I conclude that your only options are either occupying this or that part of the country and seceding (with the obvious fact this requires a large group of people and being armed) or just leaving it all behind. Yet it seems everyone is highly reluctant to just liquidate their belongings, pack up and go to the US or anywhere else. Why?
If I moved to my best option alternate country I would be looking at probably 20% my current salary and sacrificing all forward career momentum; lower cost of living but you know they don't make iphones cheaper anywhere in the world, generally luxury goods are cheapest relative to income if you life in high CoL areas.
If I moved to the US things might be better in some ways but worse in others. The level of "diversity" and immigration are higher in the US than they are here and it's further on the path to becoming South Africa than we are with rolling blackouts, no water, deep political corruption, etc.
And you know I have roots here? I don't want to be a rootless bugman.
You know another thing is for all the racialists talk about white supremacy they are right in one way that many immigrants will instinctively defer to you if you have white skin and are at least passably good looking. It's not all bad.
