For better or worse, when you make a change to something that people A) use and B) are used to, you best make damn sure the thing you're replacing it with is markedly better than the old thing. And this isn't; it's just different for its own sake, because some users were retarded about it and Null couldn't ignore being drawn into their retardation gravity well, so now the rest of us have to suffer pointless changes to usability.

For some reason, Josh thinks the Farms should be the platonic ideal of an early 90s forum, with zero extra features aside from "post info". For some reason, he thinks that will leave him with only the most serious of lolcow archivists and all the gay site drama will disappear, but that's simply not going to happen. A & N is still only viewable if you're logged in, despite the lolcow side of the site being the one that actually causes all the problems, but he'll swear up and down that those people are what's wrong with the site.

Honestly, I dont think there is much to say, at least for those that were in this thread since the beginning because we already say all we had and could say (which depending of the user is either a calm, rational, constructive criticism of the decision so Null understands this is becoming less about stickers and just basic convenience and letting minority idiots who dont really care about the site to influence decision making...or just calling Null a jewish faggot nigger, yeah, guys, that will help )

I personally hope that Null changes his mind in due time since I know he is a reasonable person and I really dont want retarded complaining mongoloids to set a precedent that if you complain enough to Null over irrelevant shit, he will alter how the whole site functions so you shut up about it (also about how "its not the right way" to use the site but I wont get into that). It just reminds me how the early internet went to shit because enough people kept complaining "X" feature was making them feel bad or something, we are becoming a "dislike-less" internet and we all are suffering for it. And my point isnt even the stickers or anything, its simply my concern of what will be removed/changed next because of fucking morons I wouldnt give the time of day making enough of a ruckus.

But at least for now, the farms are still just fine, there is just sadly more clicking to do but its still doable, I guess the way to do it is keep a "reactions" tab open and update it ever once in a while, again, all doable.
