These go a year back, so either she's so smart that she started posting dumb shit to claim being targeted a year later (not likely), or it's just a BPD pattern that now might come in handy (more likely). Leads me to think that even if you don't have a mental illness as an activist, it pays handsomely to spew dumb shit and garner some hate-orbiters that you can safely deorbit at the earliest possible controversy and pin it on them. It's expendable rhetorical meat shielding, and if I wanted to earn a living as a phony journalist, I'd probably have a couple at the ready 24/7, with receipts, hatemail logs, DMs going straight to an archiver, and a couple doctor's notes for anxiety or PTSD.

Time will tell. The benefit of these journalist spooks is that they tend to get really sensitive when people online start calling their competences and credentials into question (I vaguely recall a phony journalist lady flipping her shit after being criticized for publishing and pushing Wakefield's MMR bullshit to parents in the British MMR vaccine crisis. It's somewhere in the hbomberguy's documentary, but I don't particularly feel like listening to the guy's voice for more than 6 minutes right now). Then they tend to get rather preachy, offended, and generally absolutely fucking insane, which drags attention of enough publication to create a feedback loop that controlls really well for public outrage, salty neckbeard sweat, and pussy wind flavored hairspray Karen hairdo shrieks (not to mention the public outrage). So, give it a week or so for the public outrage part. Then, the companies are going to start blaming bad sales on the interference caused by the DEI contractors. They'll throw them under the bus by the time earning reports are filed. It kinda makes sense for a big game developer to have a fall guy for not being publicly received as well as they assumed. That will also get some publication if it happens. Then things will sizzle down, or we'll get an explosion into something completely different. (This is the boring timeline projection, I sincerely hope the shitshow evolves much faster)
