It really did devolve into a goon fest once the majority left, didn't it? Especially if this is unapologetically front and center below the main domain, it really is sad considering what it once was (not much but it was something), almost as a reminder that in the end, only the Gooners will be left and they will rape whatever corpse of something you might one day cherish.

I think I stopped watching around season five, I don’t know at this point, last thing I remember is a magical map or some shit and the Changelings needing to be given love instead of taking it or something. I honestly just grew out of it, and barely remember the order of events.
The Equestria Girls movies weren’t horrible, they were kid girl movies the fuck did anyone expect, and at least Sunset Shimmer gave the fanfic niggas some really solid material to work with for character drama.
Looking back on it, I’d say the show should have had a much shorter run. Maybe ending around the time Starlight Glimmer becomes Twilight’s student as a bit of a “history never repeats itself but it rhymes” thing, where the student became the master and we all lived happily ever after.

I stopped caring about pony stuff the same year too, it felt to me like things started to become too weird. I think it would have been a more fitting end if Twilight had just graduated, as was initially intended.
