When I heard about this person and their fetish character being put in Undertale I felt genuinely bad for Toby Fox trying to mitigate the shit show it caused. Not this cow though, it's funnier he was shocked people were rightfully disgusted by his character or hated it to the point of making fake hidden ending tutorials where you'd get a better ending if you only kill his fetish character

In case any of you is interested in getting one, allow me to line up the positives and negative of the species:
+ It's a open species with minimal ruling.
+ (subjectively) cute, could make a nice mascotte or plush, especially the feral ones.
- Species should've clearly got extinct due to the clear inability to predate smaller animals and high rate of heart attacks or is extremely stupid due to the lack of meat protein intake that was necessary for the human's brain development
- One of the few limitations includes that you aren't allowed to spread harmful, bigoted and hateful views, so making a transgender one isn't allowed
- Completely useless wings.
- If you try eating one, then you'll catch diabete, lose a leg and die of cringe.
In conclusion: overall it's just a unhealthy version of a candy orca dragon, a MLP inspired closed species that at least lacks the brain damage and is also is able to avoid looking like Fat Albert's fursona.
Pretty sure that if one were to try millking one, they would get distilled cholesterol instead of milk.

I'm very late to the conversation here, but I think it's relevant to point out a couple things regarding this
- Samael seems to have been in the Floraverse Discords for at least as far back as 4 years
- A notable type of content in Floraverse, both official and fan-made, are species sheets, so that would lead me to assume that the butterdragon species sheet is inspired by being a part of the community
- The tweet that the sheet was posted in seems to have been taken down. It's possible that Samael, or a friend of Samael's, pays attention to this thread. (eta: or maybe posting the direct link here brought the tweet unwanted comments or something idk)

they're apparently close enough to glip that they roleplay often. if they said they're not associated with floraverse it's cope after their previous anarchist fatfur friend group (yes that's a real thing) dropped them for associating with a cult

It's been confirmed since the day it happened. I'm in the server. He's still there as an admin roleplaying as a spinoff of a child cat that Mel made (he very much relates to this child character). The same guy that has child-related fetishes (diapers, age play, etc).

Toby had hidden the So Sorry boss in some obscure spot so he was trying to appease the high backing Samael did for Undertale somehow, so obscure in fact that it was easy for Toby to make it a non-canon encounter in Undertale.
