Unless that plane was brand new, that’s likely to be the result of the airline skimping on maintenance. Boeing is taking a lot of blame for problems that aren’t their fault.
If it's a 787-max, late production 777, or anything built after the 2010s, it's a Boing problem. Otherwise it's maintenance, as you say.

Do the airlines themselves do the maintenance or is the work done by dropping the planes off at a boeing maintenance facility?
Airlines perform their own maintenance.

United had to cut back on hiring pilots because they aren't getting their new planes when they expected. They've had to rework their flight plans and schedules to cover for the missing planes, schedules that were planned years in advanced. They're possibly pushing their planes harder because Boeing's fuckups mean they don't get new planes in time.

Debating Biden is pointless and this track is only effective if he refuses. Trump will have an actively hostile moderator and media will shut down any bad answer of Biden just like last year. Biden might be stew for brains but hes probably fine to puppet whatever his ear piece tells him to repeat. And any flagrant assholery will he spun as "Biden gets tough with Trump!".

Trump will just get "why do you hate black people?" "Why do you hate women and their right ro choose?" "How dare you run as an insurrectionist?". Meanwhile Biden will get "your critics are mad that rich people have to pay more taxes".
I remember in 2020, when they completely deleted foreign policy from the debate topics in response to the discovery of the Hunter laptop, which revealed that Biden had been taking bribes from Ukraine and China for years.

Can't have any subject that might expose the corruption of the ruling class to the American people, no sir.

Cops in general don't really do anything preventative anymore. A violent crime happens and sure they'll bust down your door but you can steal in broad daylight or bug someone's home and they'll just sit there slackjawed and pawn it off.
Any cop who isn't retarded has the trial of Derek Chauvin firmly planted into their brains.

You could literally lose your entire life if a fent addict dies and you happen to be nearby processing him for a crime he committed. It's an unlucky lottery ticket no one wants to play.

The second a guardsman does something that is considered controversial - the same exact thing is going to play out. The state does not have your back.

I told SJWs, like a decade ago, "You won't like it when the shoe is on the other censorious foot", and sure e-fucking-nough. Ten years later, conservatives are pushing to have books with explicit faggotry pulled from school libraries. At least the conservative desire of ensuring the age-appropriateness of content in school libraries is quite reasonable, and they aren't trying to ban or sideline media for adult consumption like SJWs were. It's just, like, I'm sitting here laughing my fucking ass off at the contents of these hearings.

The second one he reads off is the rape scene from Speak. There are entire foundations dedicated to teaching this one book. It's been treated like mandatory Grade 9/10 reading since the 2000s.

SJWs are perfectly fine with rape scenes in fiction so long as they're not eroticized or over-detailed, you see, since people "deserve to read about their own experiences". This same logic is also extended to queer representation in fiction, under the theory that since there are queer kids out there who are hiding it from their abusive conservative parents, grade-schoolers ought to be able to be reassured of their sexuality by being given books about boys sucking cock. I shit you not. That is the actual logic.

Of course, they don't actually come right out and say this publicly. They just get all flustered and stonewall, much like the officials in these hearings.

This is going to get much, much worse before it gets better.

Here's part 3

Now, we're revealing how corporate interests have become deeply interconnected with immigration through a non-governmental organization called Tent Partnership for Refugees. This NGO comprises more than 400 major multinational companies committed to hiring "refugees."

Several NGO partnerships with mega corporations include RedRoof Inn, Royal Farms, Shopify, CSX, Delta Airlines, DoorDash, Etsy, and even Bloomberg.

The NGO's relationships run deeper than mega-corporations, in fact, all the way up to the Biden administration.

In December of 2022, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed a memorandum of understanding with Tent Partnership to "expand economic opportunity for refugees" in the private sector.

Since the Biden administration opened the floodgates, 10 million illegal immigrants invaded the nation. The NGO serves as an extension for mega-corporations to exploit cheap labor.

Exactly! They do not infiltrate anymore, they -create-. They are so incredibly reliant on tip offs for basic internal security that its actually appalling. They long since have stopped any form of monitoring that isn't people already on public lists as being parts of 'problem groups' like militias.

Their entire procedure now is to create a group that will draw in 'at risk' people and then front them. They don't really look for anyone anymore.
This is why I keep pointing out the massive blind spot the law enforcement agencies have to left-wing extremism. Said blind spot will lead nowhere good.

Yeah, they changed that at the last second. It doesn't benefit Biden at all to debate so I don't see the DNC allowing any debates while leaning on media to stifle Trump's voice.

Reactions: The Nothingness
I'm surprised at how no one is talking about how the new Biden Labor Dept. rule is set to go into effect tomorrow and is going to completely fuck the gig economy to death. Millions of people who rely on gig work to make ends meet are about to be shut out. Meanwhile, Biden's law reducing non-payment penalties on credit cards to $8 is also going into effect. The result is going to be a whole fuck ton of people who can't pay their bills and won't pay their debts. It's like a perfect storm to fuck the economy, and it's probably why every billionaire and insider congress critter are exiting the stock market.
good. The gig economy and independent contracting in general has always been a way for employers to get out of their entire half of the employer-employee relationship beyond wages, and nipping that shit in the bud before it becomes the new normal is a net good.
For every hypercompetent "consultant" doing 1099 work you have legions of blue collar workers basically treated like serfs. Heaven forbid somebody has to pay for healthcare/benefits for their janitors.

School libraries have always made choices about what books are and aren't appropriate for kids. There has never been an epoch in the history of this country where merely being in print qualified something to be handed out to first-graders. It is an absolute false choice to frame this as "free speech" vs "censorship." The choice is between having sex-crazed lunatics decide what children should read, or having someone who doesn't fetishize converting children to their sex cult decide what children should read.

You can't have any collection without deciding what's in and what's out. The left likes to play this game where when something they want (usually porn) gets left out, that's "censorship," but when they exclude things they don't like, that's "curation."

You guys actually think that the WTC buildings collapsed into their own footprints, at freefall speeds, because of terrorists?
They were given a pull order to be destroyed. Not because Murica evil (it is, but not this time) or jet fuel not melting beams or muh turrurist.

They were pulled because of The Trolley Problem. Do they let the towers flop over and potentially kill hundreds of thousands of people or do they demolish the buildings killing only a few thousand?

Everyone knows they would have made the same, difficult call and Larry silverstein is a hero for doing what he did. Yeah that may not sound like something you want to hear but whether the attack was staged or not, he saved a lot of lives, something he can never admit, let alone take credit for.

Airlines perform their own maintenance.
I thought major and Major* maintenance was carried out by the manufacturer and airlines only do the 'basic' levels of maintenance (Engine, computer, component changes etc)

The whole "Jet Fuel can't melt steel beams" thing is a red herring to distract people, much like the whole "vaccines are 5g chips" was for the Covid vaccine to distract from the massive money making scheme. You don't need the steel to even start glowing red, as soon as it reaches something like 600 degrees it starts weakening up and loosing strength enough to fuck up the structural stability.

The ideal gig economy was supposed to be more pay up front because you know you're doing that without the benefits, ie if you Uber you get paid more to offset car mainenance that you know will occur. Where it became shit is where you magically took all the hassle and the same pay rate as an actual employer would, in the Uber case now having faggot customers who the company will side with, and then having lower pay because they flooded the area with other Uber driver (who literally are illegals who then do shit like "vomit cleanup" fees that make all drivers look like shit). I had an uncle try Uber as he was scaling back into retirement and saw how it went from a nice job for someone to do just to get out of the house to "fuck this, burn it to the ground."

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge announced Monday that she is stepping down from her position.

"It's time to go home,’’ Fudge told USA Today, which reported that her last day is March 22. "I do believe strongly that I have done just about everything I could do at HUD for this administration as we go into this crazy, silly season of an election."

With her departure, Fudge will become only the second original Cabinet member to leave the Biden administration after Labor Secretary Marty Walsh stepped down last year.

"From her time as a mayor, to her years as a fierce advocate in the U.S. House of Representatives, Marcia’s vision, passion, and focus on increasing economic opportunity have been assets to our country," President Biden said in a statement Monday. "I’m grateful for all of her contributions toward a housing system that works for all Americans, and I wish her well in her next chapter."

I even crunched the chemistry once and kerosene (jet fuel) absolutely burns hot enough to melt steel in an adiabatic fuel-air explosion. The meme comes from people assuming a kerosene lamp burns as hot as an explosion (it doesn't).
