Going off vague memory here but if I’m not mistaken he and Ade both sold insurance, I seem to recall him trying to lowball his numbers on the divorce papers and fatting up the math anyway. It pertained to his crying that paying child support would end his career as he couldn’t afford to keep his licenses and also support his daughter. Ade ultimately said she didn’t want shit from him if she never had to see him again, and PCJ agreed to the court to provide for the child so the state wouldn’t have to. Vague memory so the details might be a bit off but that was the gist.

He later wrote in a blog post that his motivation for becoming a famous author was to spite Ade.
