Oh no no no, we do not play it safe here. I won the lottery- it was one of those "draw yourself" threads on /soc/, my nigga. It was a very bad and lonely time and I just wanted someone to talk to. Someone on /adv/ mentioned that it's not really that bad of a board for finding a friend, so I gave it one chance and got lucky. Paradoxically less scary to share contacts there for someone paranoid than any blue boards, as there's less attention drawn to it. It's a sea of contact information and people are less likely to go out of their way to fuck you up because you like the thing they don't like. Funnily enough, I knew another couple that came about in the same thread, but fell out of contact, so no clue if they're still going or not.
Also, I'd draw the definite line somewhere after the second election in 2020, that's when the gay discord ops and bots really raped the festering corpse. I actually left for 8ch during the first exodus and only came back shortly before 8ch died due to, well, looking for advice on /adv/. The local incels of 8ch were way too angry to help out with anything at that point, if your gender slipped, you'd get nothing but seething.

Yes Jane Austen. Pride and prejudice is very funny and sharp in parts. There’s a book called the poison woodbible that’s very good as well (Barbara kingsolver.) I can’t think of a book I’ve read offhand that really seemed to ‘get’ being female. Perhaps others will have better recommendations and I’ll go scan and eye over my bookshelves tonight as well (one of my favourite female characters is written by a bloke…)
It looks awful. Dating American style wasn’t a thing when I was young and I’ve always found it very strange. Online dating looks even worse. It reduces people to surface characteristics. Maybe there’s some girl you’d not look at twice in photos but in person she’s great, or VV, maybe you’re a bloke who isn’t much to look at but you’re perfect for them. Online dating is the fast food of human interaction. Personally I’d hate to be used for or look for sex like that, if I was single and looking for a partner I’d rather get to know people and do it the more old fashioned way. I don’t envy young ‘uns having to negotiate this. Personally I’d keep away from the hookup apps and meet people in real life. Not just meet women but meet groups of people. Then one of them has a sister you’d love. That’s how it should work.

Relatable in the sense that women also have problems, even with relationships and work and shit like that. Im also technically a neet as well since I wfh but with no actual trade skills, just shitty compsci knowledge. Most of the shit on /feels/ felt more authentic than anything Ive read on the twox subreddits, relationship advice, witchesvspatriarchy or whatever the fuck. From a guys perspective, in a very commie liberal world its hard to imagine average women having actual problems, stuff like this helps break through that.
No, I did not mean relatable personally but just relatable, sympathetic if thats a more accurate descriptor.
