Note, someone making a citizen's arrest has no qualified immunity and any tort or crime they commit in a mistaken attempt to restrain someone they have no right to restrain can be prosecuted. This could include crimes such as assault, battery, aggravated assault, wrongful injury or death, homicide, kidnapping, or a whole galaxy of potential offenses.

Pig would really be playing with fire if he did that. He won't, obviously, because he is a weak, trembling jelly of a man. He would instead cry to the police or Karen up a storm at whoever was running the con.
