I didn't know this. It's awesome news for me, but as you say, I certainly hope that George Martin (I refuse to say "George R.R. Martin", just like I refuse to say "J.K. Rowling", since authors who use pretentious initials are some of the worst kinds of people out there) won't be the main author. I read in this thread that there is a prevailing theory of a ghost writer for ASOIAF? If so, that would explain a lot, considering mr. Martins propensity for fat retardation. We will for sure. They might not be written by GRRM (thankfully even) but his publisher and HBO will put something out. Plus HBO already has plans to reboot the entire franchise in two decades time. The current Harry Potter show might as well be a test run to see how easy it will be to reboot Game of Thrones. But this time with a new ending and the show being rewritten around that eventual new ending.
Even if GRRM comes out and says that he wants the franchise to be left alone when he dies it won't matter.
I've honestly given up completely on entertainment in most forms, however, even literature. Not even most literature is worth reading, save for the classics — that's how much "current year", with all of its pozzed retards, have destroyed all things just and decent.
