I am "defending" her because I don't want her bullied off the site, I don't want anyone bullied off the site, I like discussion, and I want all sorts of people to discuss things with.
I also passionately hate hugboxes where everyone thinks alike.
Also, her detractors, some of them I could say I am friendly with, are often quite brutal and their jabs somewhat repetitive and low brow.
That has (obviously) nothing to do with Romeo&Juliet exemptions or consent laws.
However, since this is KF, now there have to be 5 pages of derailment and pedo accusations and people calling their political opponents groomers.

I agree with this sentiment. I believe this site is at its heart apolitical—on the surface or in certain forums it can certainly appear that every poster is an amalgamation of “4chan altright nazi shitlord”, if you scratch beneath the surface at all it becomes very clear that isn’t the case.

Even the people whose political views I find incorrect can have good takes or interesting posts, and cute cat stories or good recipes. Anyone who pretends that it is isn’t being intellectually honest, and I would say hasn’t spent enough time on this site, but that isn’t the case for Marge. Maybe it’s a willful ignorance of the truth.

My issue with Stan is that she seems to be willfully ignorant of certain facts, or misrepresents them when it is convenient. Up to 2023 she held the belief that Isabella Janke was being targeted for touching Kiwifarms’ sacred lolcow, and that it was forum members who had made her life a living hell. Despite being corrected and admitting (seemingly) that she was wrong, she still refuses to correct her article or apologize meaningfully.

She is still super assmad at Lemmingwise for “doxxing” and “lying” to her, but fails to recognize or acknowledge the fact that he warned her about what she was doing and she did it anyways, and continued to flaunt her information in his face. If you’ve been using a site like KF since 2021, wouldn’t you have realized what a bad move this is? She doesn’t seem to take any personal responsibility, but holds him as the sole reason her account was unmasked.

Finally, as a TERF myself, what I find most egregious is that she publicly asslicks trannies like Keffals and Alejandra Caraballo about the big bad evil KF and virtue signals on Twitter about wanting KF wiped from the internet, but continues to use the site to talk shit about trannies. Pick a fucking lane.

Yes there are people who needle and insult her and their insults are less than creative, but she cries about how mean they are and how low they go often, either ignoring the fact that she herself has told people to kill themselves, made jokes about people she’s been in arguments with being sexually molested, telling people it would be a shame if they got doxed blah blah blah.

The cognitive dissonance is really fucking stunning. I don’t know if she’s unwilling to see or doesn’t want to. The part that bothers me most is that she considers herself “better” than this community and website, and has called for it to be stricken from the internet publicly, yet still uses it.

Unlike some other people, I don’t want her to write a new article. I don’t think anyone cares enough about her opinion for it to change anything, and if she can’t change her opinion on KF despite being here for years a single article isn’t going to do that for anyone else. Same with Canada though they used to make a big deal if the kid was just a few months older. I forgot the exact age of the couple but one kid got in trouble because he was a few months older than the two years, I think it was like three or four months.
