My fondest dbd games have all had the same storyboard. Me playing as killer, doing alright and then noticing at the end of the game that one or a few of the survivors were streaming. Proceeding to load up the vod and enjoying watching a troon having a mental breakdown because I didn’t play the game the way he wanted me to play the game. I’ve only been playing for a year and a half, but this has happened at least 10 times. One was even a pooner.

It is actually on sale, Steam Spring just started but it will make you very angry at some point, it's just in the nature of the game. You are more likely to make the other side angrier than you though so you may find some value in playing. We all play just to farm salt and make the other side seethe.

This is not the voice actor who played the Unknown, just an unrelated lolcow in the community.

Some additional observations: the Unknown fires an explosive, bouncing projectile from the opening on its stomach (stinkditch? it does wield an axe after all) composed of pink, seemingly government-produced chemicals that fuck with your mind unless you stare directly at the creature to dispel the effects. HRT reference? Possibly. It also leaves clones of itself standing around the world (grooming?) lastly, it has perks and achievements based around its love for the basement on every map.

I sincerely believe BHVR didn't make the Unknown into the perfect negative tranny stereotype on purpose, but with all these parallels I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

Life has gotten better ever since I stopped playing DBD for years.

Still boggles my mind how no other game can survive the asymmetrical horror genre like dbd. They all die in around year time or lose support swiftly. Such as evil dead, friday 13th, that one discord exclusive game, and etc.

I think Last Year: The Nightmare was my favorite asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, sucks to see it have died so quickly since they were also adding animals and monsters as killers, in addition to serial killers. Died out on YouTube as far as the people I follow who don't suck to listen to.
