Ronversations Revisited in 2024 – Retrospective
In January through April 2020, Nick Rekieta and Ron Toye (Monica Rial’s fiance) would go back and forth on (then) Twitter in direct messages, and these were showcased in streams, part of a series called
“Ronversations.” Here’s a link to the playlist:

Ron Toye is a loan officer at CrossCountry Mortgage, and he seems to have deleted his X/Twitter since these streams happened, but here are the links to what were the Twitter profiles:

These conversations revolved around the Vic Mignonga lawsuit, but often venturing into calling Nick’s competence as a lawyer into question, calling Ron’s relationship with Monica into question, letting Ron Toye know that becoming a male feminist doesn’t erase this wife-beating violent past, and just flinging insults back and forth with a lot of it not even worth reading. Personally, I really liked these streams at the time because I got a lot of what I deemed to be valuable life lessons. Given Nick’s rapid decline, betrayal of all the values he claimed to hold, the Vic saga being over, and Nick seeming to not want to talk about the Vic suit at all,
just how well did the comments pertaining to Nick’s character in these conversations age?
The really short version is – these were painful to go through and watch all over again. Not only because making the entire conversation available in image form took forever, or because Ron is insufferable, but so much of what Nick says here pertaining to personal attacks or his own coping
has aged really badly. So many things that Nick says in these conversations, looking back with the knowledge we have now, were very likely just him projecting onto Ron, and Ron even managed to call a few things about Nick years before a lot of us were aware or suspicious of how bad things were. Likely by coincidence though, because Ron is an idiot.
I’m not going to focus on things pertaining to the Vic lawsuit, as we now know that was a loss, and we’d be going over almost every single message. I’m stopping at the end of the actual conversation between them, and I don’t count the “proxy interviews.” Before I start though, I want to make one thing clear:
Ron Toye is proven to be a terrible person – has beaten women, and has threatened to murder people. This is not to make him look like a good person, or any worse of a person, but just to present what was said, and how well it holds up.
Here's the entire conversation:

Retrospective/Review:
The conversation starts with Ron flinging insults right out the gate, and then starts trying to play the "concerned friend" while trying to get Nick to come to his side. From personal experience, I have seen this exact pattern of behavior in adult abusers, so that alone was enough proof for me that Ron has not changed, as he repeatedly tries to claim in this chat - this is something he does for basically the first half of the conversation until finally giving up on this idea, and gradually devolves to sending the same retarded short messages over and over (17-0,

, Awww, etc). As a whole, this chat devolves into simply flinging insults and sending random pictures and becomes completely terrible after awhile, however before then, the most typical topics (besides the Vic suit) are Nicks' competency as a lawyer, Ron's past and him being a woman-beater, the armchair psychology of somebody that denies they are still sick in the head, and calling Ron's relationship into question.
Speaking of Ron's relationship, his forever-engagement comes up a lot. This is his Facebook account, and is active as of at least March 3rd. In the conversation, Ron believes he got engaged in 2015, and as of writing this post (March 14th, 2024), Ron Toye has been engaged to Monica Rial for
NINE YEARS.
Ron starts apologizing to Nick for being rude after the insults in the very beginning, then when that doesn't work, proceeds to playing the concerned parent role, and asks Nick what HE would do given the situations and accusations if it were his daughter, then after that doesn't work, he decides it's no longer worth acting like a friend. Proceeds to claim that he didn't "beat" anyone, just "slapping a remote down on her thigh." That sounds a lot like the behavior of somebody who won't admit to a problem, so I think Nick's comments on that are still very on point. Eventually towards image #9 and #10, Ron is just spamming 17-0, smilie faces, typing like a woke woman, and just sperging. All in all, he's just as fucking insufferable as I remember when watching these back in 2020.
Now onto Nick Rekieta in this chat.
There's a lot of comments on character and moralities that aged horribly. Looking beyond the pointless insult posts that don't have any real substance to them, we get to the good stuff very quickly. These comments in particular:
(Image #1) “You publicly labeled him a rapist and sexual predator and pedophile. THEN you expected him to listen to your advice after intentionally destroying his career and reputation? Do you not understand abuse?” - Nick Rekieta
(Image #2) “What career, Ron. You guys called him a serial sexual assaulter, sexual predator, and a pedophile. There wasn't a career left, and you know it, or you're an idiot.” - Nick Rekieta
Few years later, this is how Nick feels about labeling people such things publicly:
So we can assume he doesn't actually believe calling people such things is really that big of a deal, so it makes me question why he would make it a big deal in this conversation back in 2020. Moving on to later in the conversation (image #4), Nick starts bringing up the questionable morality and consideration of real life consequences. The big thing here was Nick wanting Ron to answer the question of whether or not he and Monica considered the consequences of calling Vic a sexual predator, implying he might become suicidal. Lets explore that. If you’ve been following Nick recently in early 2024, you know where this is going.
(Image #4) “The Ron Toye guide to helping drowning people: put your foot on their head and hold them under.” - Nick Rekieta
(Image #4) “Honestly, how much champagne would you have guzzled if he had eaten a bullet?” - Nick Rekieta
(Image #4) “Did you and Monica even consider the damage it would do to him mentally to have his trusted friend publicly call him a sexual abuser?” - Nick Rekieta
There’s many more quotes like this in this part, but you get the point – Nick seems concerned that Ron and Monica did not seem to care what would happen to Vic if someone he trusted smeared him the way they did, implying several times Vic might take his own life. Fast forward a few years – this clip shows how Nick feels about somebody that’s trusted “putting the foot on their head” and “holding them under” when dealing with a possible suicidal person:
So telling potentially suicidal people to finish the job is okay according to Nick, so once again, I don't understand why he spent an entire Ronversation stream worth of typing (#4) that Monica and Ron really need to be more careful about that. Moving on to image #6 in this conversation, Nick brings up several points pertaining to caring about what people on the internet think - claims Ron is bothered by people on the internet disagreeing with him, and giving them power over him. Also, says someone online making fun of you doesn't warrant taking it out on someone else.
(Image #6) “I mean, I know you get bothered by people disagreeing with you, but why do you give random internet people so much power over you?” - Nick Rekieta
(Image #6) “Think about your pathetic outlook. Some guy on the internet makes fun of you and you take it out on someone else.” - Nick Rekieta
Moving onto image #8 in the conversation, and at this point it's completely devolved into two bitter ex girlfriends fighting. Nick does try and ask the question several times of who sent the letters, but Ron refused to answer, citing ongoing investigation. Just sending pictures of the people involved in this is also considered an “own” now. Since the entirety of the rest of this conversation is just garbage, I only have one Ron quote that I found funny to look back on now.
(Image #8 ) “One thing I find interesting is I have given you the opportunity to ask me questions and you chose to ask questions I would expect from a teenager.” - Ron Toye
Few years later, Nick gets the opportunity to interview Kyle Rittenhouse, and uses this opportunity to ask questions such as “balls or no balls”:
There are certainly more here, but those are the ones that stuck out to me for one reason or another. Basically, did you like the old Nick? Well watch modern Nick, then go back to these old streams, and see how you feel. If you're me, even more disappointed than before.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, while I enjoyed these streams very much when they came out, they are so terrible to listen to now. Not just because of Vic losing the case in the end, not just because it reminds you of how much of a woman-beating insufferable cuckold Ron is, or just because so many lines from Nick here have proven to be things he has done himself later on, but it really gives a lot of credibility to the idea that
Nick was always this way, and just hid it. If he were simply projecting all his character flaws onto others (in this case Ron), then it makes so much sense why Nick Rekieta is the way he is now. I'm completely convinced at this point that everything before was just him projecting his own insecurities and problems onto anyone else he was talking to, as after going back and watching these, it looks to me like the signs were there, but just concealed really well.
Finally, if you reached the end, actually read all this (including the entire godforsaken chat), and are trying to decide which one between Nick or Ron is the better or worse person, you’re wasting more time than I wasted writing this all up. They are both absolutely vile monsters, each for different reasons, and deserve to be beaten with a remote.
