His "opinion" has already been bought and paid for. Really kind of hard to give a shit about him being attacked.
Even on the subject of bought and paid for, here's some other things that I've noticed that are absolutely bonkers.
AZ (HeelVsBabyFace) is repeatedly going at Act Man over Starfield
Meanwhile, AZ has said nothing about Mauler or EFAP who praised God of War Ragnarok
but there, everyone who gave AZ shit for his Starfield rant has also hopped aboard the "Sweet Baby is woke and bad" train.
Critical Drinker, who I mentioned before, gave a glowing review of God of War Ragnarok and said black girl Angrboda was
not woke and that people ought to shut up about it.
But then, all of a sudden, Drinker hops aboard the "Sweet Baby is woke and bad" train along with everyone else.
So, yeah, pretty much everyone involved in YouTube's Commentary Community have their opinions for sale. And this wasn't back 3-4 months ago when stuff like Game Awards was going on. No, they waited until today. And I'd like to say that's all a coincidence, but my gut tells me they just sit on stuff like this until it's most expedient for them to profit from it. Like a bunch of dominoes, everyone suddenly tries to rewrite their place in history. The grift is real.
Null pretty much nailed it here:
Both sides face the same problem: a limited audience. Between all these modern day titans duking it out, there is a finite supply of other people's money to take. These "teams" mostly battle against themselves, attempting to score more purity points with their partisan supporter base. Each round, they all place reputation into a pot and play their hands. At the end of it, one person comes out on top at the others' expense, without a single real point getting made and without a single heart or mind getting changed.
