By referring to and grouping people together under an umbrella term like 'cis' and making generalisations about that group, that is necessarily a form of othering. For fuck sake, trans people other themselves all the time by the mere act of calling themselves 'trans people'. The addition of a modifying descriptor like 'trans-' implies some inherent difference or otherness, otherwise it would simply go unstated. You wouldn't refer to a carrot as "an orange carrot" because it's clunky and unnecessary. You only add descriptors to mark something out as being unusual or different from the expected norm.

You retards can have your cake, or you can eat it. You can shout from the rooftops about how trans and queer and different you are, or you can claim oppression when people treat you differently. Pick fucking one.

I am certain I heard this narrative from various people of color (mostly black people) about how they want whites to treat them better/equal but they don't want to spend the labour of educating them about racism and equality. Troons really love making their lives more difficult. Gotta make sure credit karma is updated! The pooner doesn't even know if it's going to be an issue yet. I doubt it is because many people change their names and don't go through half the stuff these ppl do. In most Nordic countries the SS number has a gender marker, one of the numbers is either odd or even and that causes lethal dysphoria so that also changes with the gender, so technically it is a new SS number.
When Finland got self-id last year some tried to exploit this by just changing gender on paper with the plan to run up massive debt (again) with the new SS number. The law was put in place rather fast but I don't know if they were successful or not, but the bug/feature should probably be fixed by now. Changing gender on paper only is still usefull for avoiding mandatory militairy service, at least.
