I'd honestly be struggling to even describe half of Jims crap as "Opinions". Opinions are generally informed by a combination of personal beliefs, exposure to other ideas, and exposure to reality. Jim, meanwhile, just seems to double down on stuff he doesn't even believe anymore, like he knows its a mistake and insists on saying it anyway.

The only noteworthy part of the story is someone actually created a mod to remove Jim's edits which made him big mad.

At least I think that happened, I might be getting mixed up with the mod to remove Pride flags from Spider-Man (which actually was just a regional content filter for the middle-east lol).

Eh, having a certain amount of user unfriendliness in the design probably acts as a sort of IQ test. I don't think it's a coincidence that Reddit really started going to shit around the same time they changed the default layout.

Your going to have a hard time convincing me that tolerance of a cursor chaser is anything other than a negatively correlated IQ test. Get back to me when they replace with with the expectation to add a pgp to your profile.

I'll go to bat for Jim, with this own SBI stuff going on I watch his old JQ around when GG was happening and it was very balanced video solely focused on the topic of ethics in video game journalism, I can't quite remember the video but there is a JQ covering one of the scandals of misconduct in one of the AAA publishers and you can tell by how he sounds that he was genuninely distraught and it the straw that broke the camel's back.
