My apologies if this is the wrong gun thread for this but it's the only one I know about.
He's a regional guy so I suspect most of you haven't heard of him, but Washington Gun Law is a really good channel for 2A legal stuff. He mostly focuses on Washington State but always covers national news as well. Today, he was talking about a 1st circuit ruling where a magazine ban was upheld.
Is it possible to rush a lot of this bullshit to SCOTUS through malicious compliance? Take a really pro 2A area of the country and get them to agree to the most ridiculous gun laws ever, but make the penalty for it a $1 fine. Instead of slow boiling the frog, just dump all the dystopian anti-gun shit you can on a community that's "in on it." The GoA, FPC, etc. can all run straight to those areas and handle the appeals for those that caught the $1 fine. It would really cut the nuance out of the 2A argument and force the courts to give specific answers to simpler questions. Throw them a softball for once.
