Sad thing is, I actually enjoyed the 2008 game, well, the PS3 updated version to be exact (granted, it did fix some of the annoyances of the original 360 and PC versions as well as adding in new content) though I'm probably alone in stating this lol.
If that game were to somehow win (extremely unlikely, but you never know) would Phil play the original 360 version or the updated PS3 one? PC is out because DSP suffers from bugged PC mechanics at the moment.
If it was the original 360 version, there's no checkpoint during the rather difficult drive to Central Park. PS3 version adds a checkpoint in the middle and it's easier as a result.

People already made fun of these two tweets by swapping his avatar with DSP's. And it uncannily fit in. But yeah, it was a dumb thing to happen and i expected them to just not fall for it to begin with.
That said they did finish the show at ep 100 and i think that was the right thing to do before the drama finished them instead.

I was amazed just how bad it got with people like drgnkiller sperging out and backseat damage controlling for them too. It was a shitshow.

Yeah it's finished. A few months ago Fred was talking to people in private about it. I was one of them and pretty much gave him feedback on things. For some reason he told me he might end it on 100th episode and what i thought about that. Fast forward to today and i guess they really went through with it.

It seems they're gonna continue with the Let's Endure, which I think is better tbh. The podcast was beginning to have too much drama. A commentary of a TIHYDP can't generate drama. Worst case scenario it becomes dull/stale and therefore they also stop that too.

I have a feeling that Mafia III might be Phil's next ragequit. The game requires you to do side content to unlock the main missions, and that was what did Far Cry Primal & Attack on Titan in for him. Having to liberate all of New Bordeaux, coupled with terrible views (as usual), could cause him to drop the game.

I consider "HARDCORE GAMING SEASON" to be a lot like Revolution 60: It keeps getting pushed back further and further, and then is a complete and utter dud resulting in a peak of 10 people watching.

He just didn't get the memo about MGSV ratings being majorly time based, not stealth. And he'll just jerk off to these few S ranks he managed to run with when he rushed though that game.

Mafia 3 stealth is pretty damn easy. The AI's line of detection is super narrow. You can pretty much be standing right next to them and they won't see you. They also don't seem to react to any kill noises at all. I used a silenced handgun to kill a guy on the second level of a warehouse. He legit cried in agony and then fell over the rail and onto the main floor. Nobody fucking noticed. One guy was like 10 feet away from where he landed but since he had his back turned he didn't catch on. I'm sure Phil loves stuff like that but to me it really breaks you out of the game. Once I got a silenced weapon the smaller areas felt like the usual routine so now I go in guns blazing just because it's funner to move around and use the cover system.
The gun fights get a bit tougher as you go on. Early on in the game it's a joke but eventually the guys you go up against seem better armed and their numbers are larger.
