Every single US Politics related thread reads like a fucking reddit post. This shit is being written like it is some sort of military campaign of Napoleon or Caesar's with all the political actors and shit, rather than documenting shit. Especially when it comes to Jan 6, Trump, and the political persecution bullshit going on.
A lot can be said about historiography, but writing shit that is current events as a historiography is so fucking gay. I think a lot of these people are frothing at the mouth at the idea of creating a historiography on this shit while forgetting the unspoken 30 year rule or some shit that historians generally try to follow (Not that historians aren't a generally pozzed class).

It depends on where you are. Where I live the lakes were ice free a month early and migrating birds are showing up a week or two early. Last winter it was so cold that I learned that -44 degrees Celsius and -44 degrees Fahrenheit are the same. I'm pretty sure there's some El Nino or whatever shit going on so in a year or two it'll be cold again.

The amount of fuckery that goes on with climate science makes it impossible to say, because these "people" will just flip flop and change the data to fit their shit. Like how last year the entire media collectively screamed about how it was the "hottest July 4th ever" using a data set that only went back to 1970 and measuring temperatures on a couple dozen cities only.

Believe it or not, White supremacism and abolitionist beliefs are not mutually exclusive. In fact, the truly egalitarian abolitionists were outliers compared to the number of supremacists who argued that slavery was still a step too far and treated the whole ordeal like a case of needing to send exotic animals back to their natural habitat or at least keep them out of their beloved White North. You would think somebody that is using Mr. “Not being actively anti-white is racist” as a reference would comprehend that.

Also the whole argument is bizzare abolitionism isnt one line of argument against slavery it covers all arguments against slavery from the Spanish Priests arguing that enslaving Indians is wrong to the people who wanted to deport Africans to Liberia to preserve the white country of the United States.
