So, not buying games because they suck isn't a boycott, it's just common sense. A boycott is doing without something you actually want to inflict financial pain on the seller. Boycotts are tough and should usually be designed to wrap up quickly. This is a problem for stuff like Sweet Baby Inc, because they'll get money to weather the storm of a boycott until people give up on it.

However, there a lot of types of consumer action besides just boycotts. The Sweet Baby Inc detected group is a great example. It's easy, it's convenient and if someone was on the fence about buying a game it will likely help them save money. Carefully researching games before you buy them is helpful too. If you accidentally buy a super woke one (I think a lot of us have) just keep that developer, studio and distributor in mind, and skip their products next time. Write negative user reviews on Steam, Metacritic, Amazon, etc. (Maybe make a sock puppet for this, so you don't get banned from Amazon or something if the woke decide to make an example of you.) Share information here, on Kiwifarms. Oh, the Steam ignore list is great too, it keeps you from forgetting and buying the games 5 years down the line when you forget that a game was trash even though it has a pretty cover.

It's a marathon, not a race. These zombies will last a while on almost no sales because of all the financial incentives propping them up. But if you are still buying only good games, you don't need to worry about the rest of it. Your life will be pretty good and you can feel your money is well spent. If you know a game is actually good, buying it helps keep that game around and helps it compete with the bad ones.

You seem to forget that there are other things plaguing this industry other than "Woke Shit". Games today have overinflated budgets. Both the Suicide Squad and Spider-Man 2 games cost more to make than the fucking Avatar movie. I believe Sony stated that Spider-Man 2 needed to sell 17 million copies in order to turn a profit. That is bad. Also, at least in Baldur's Gate 3 you can go full murder hobo on the tranny and gay characters. In Spider-Man 2 you are forced to play as a deaf black girl and also watch two faggots ask each other to the prom. Lets also not forget Suicide Squad and Harley being so progressive and Woke that she is a MAP for child Poison Ivy. Fun fact, both Spider-Man 2 and Suicide Squad were written by Sweet Baby Inc.

And I agree, GG tanked because of Sargon and Milo trying to use GG for their own political agendas, this should not reach the same conclusion cause for once we have the journos right where we want them.

IMHO, GG tanked mainly for 2 reasons:
1. People self-appointing themselves as "community police" and pestering everyone until they lost interest. One of the reasons Jim left and the thing loli is doing here, intentional or not.
2. Weak willed people that couldn't handle being insulted by the mainstream which ended up running away or even turning a 180. See the cowardly septics that still linger around youtube.

Also, focusing on SBI only (sounds like "ethics only" uh?) is really narrow minded. Even if they were to become unhirable that doesn't really solve anything.

Technically, the only way to win this is to "wait them out" until ESG dries up. But that doesn't address the causes that made things so bad in the first place.

You also need to hold people like Mercedes Carrera and Homer Ruglia accountable for GG's failure. I agree we need to confront other things besides Sweet Baby Inc, and we need to find other similar companies. They're not the only ESG/EDI company in the industry, and other industries have their own SBIs. Problem is the ESG isn't going to dry up anytime soon especially with Blackrock Overlord Fink's infinite supply of money. Bamco will get bailout money even if this new game flops, and WBD will still stay alive even if it's stock is at $5. Another thing we need to do is don't be like the antisjws by supporting "non-woke" shit from woke companies (in other words, don't buy anything from Bandai Namco even if Harada 'isn't woke," or your favorite franchise is coming out with a new game. Bamco should never touch your money).

Also, the whole point is to drop AAA games altogether. Stop looking for "the good ones", they don't exist anymore. Buy games that aren't pozzed or don't buy any at all, there are hundreds of thousands of already existing titles you can play right now.

Don't buy anything from any of these studios period. That's what I hated about antisjws and The Fandom Menace guys: they thought supporting Mandalorian, Super Mario, or Top Gun Maverick would send a message to Hollywood and Disney, but all it did was give money to the Far Left and people who hate them. Loving Mandalorian and Baby Yoda only empowered Kathleen Kennedy's position, and it took forever to get people to let Star Wars die.

Idk, I played it and yeah all that stuff is in there but it's all optional. In my playthrough I rejected every guys' proposal, banged the goth chick and let the lesbian white-knight get killed. If someone did gay shit, that's their fault. Though I guess the same could be said about the certified pozzed game known as Undertale, but that one really tried to guilt trip you for not playing along.

Indeed. That is one of the reason why I and many others give BG3 a bit of a pass. Larian valued player freedom and let you play however you wanted. If you wanted to go full murder hobo on the gay and tranny characters you can and can also treat them like utter shit too. Contrast this to Starfield where every gay and tranny character is marked as essential and you can do nothing but affirm and validate them. Starfield is way more woke and worse than Baldur's Gate 3 and is the embodiment of globohomo slop.

Agreed. The game plays great, but the character generation and the companions' sexuality is woke as fuck. You can make a gorgeous elf cleric and give her a girldick, a handsome human fighter and give him a mangina, intentionally give your characters vitiligo, and every companion of the 15 or so is bisexual "pansexual" so you can bang whichever one you want no matter how you designed your character. Of all the people you could have in your party, why are 100% of them in the alphabet squad despite only being 5-10% of the population? Shouldn't at least one of them be a little close-minded about whom they agree to sleep with? Why isn't there a companion that's a priest of Zarus, shittalking at camp about "human miscegenation"?

I whole heartily agree with this. However, the D&D community is infested with troons. Even our Feeder Lord has acknowledge that troonery is a problem in the D&D community. During development Larian mainly relied on gamer feedback on how to improve the game. Sadly there were a lot of troons playing Baldur's Gate 3 during early access so Larian ended up sadly implementing stuff that troons wanted like player sexual companions and adding token gay and troon characters into the game. Thankfully though Larian valued player freedom and allowed you to do whatever you wanted to those characters such as kill them outright. Other Western studios would never give the player that option. Case in point, Bethesda with Starfield.

Damn it, I actually liked Reverie Under the Moonlight - did not know they made a sequel, and now I'm sad. Why must everything suck?

I'm only about half way through at this point, but I haven't noticed any pozzing, aside from the unusual diversity of a small Japanese village, and the fact that like the other momodora games it's a story about magical girls and so is being lauded as queer by the usual types. It's definitely not as good as rutm though sadly.

It is forced though. Everyone in your party tries to bang you the second you build a camp fire. They all have that glassy eyed smirking attitude of the desperate thirsty. I want to play a good story about magic and swords and shit, not queer as folk with elves and aliens.

Tbh though I only played a couple of hours, so I can see how it might get better after that, after the media had checked out. I was bitching about the combat to my group of friends and they all to a man boasted about save scumming every dice roll, and I haven't picked it up since.

I concur. Jeremy Blaustien's localizations are actually pretty kino. Hell, it's one of the reasons why MGS1's voice acting performace is seen as superior to Twin Snakes. Blaustien wasn't there anymore to direct the voice actors due to retiring, and so, the va's gave different tones, inflections, etc.
