Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

Does anyone know the names of the other consultancy firms that do the same things Sweet Baby Inc. does? I know of Black Girl Gamers who helped with Forspoken but would like to be aware of others.
Here's another one, GaymerX: https://archive.ph/8BlHB

There's a whole list of them somewhere but I don't have it handy. (Edit: see below found it.) Of course, some companies have internal departments that handle the same function.

Found on Reddit of all places. I doubt it's a comprehensive list though.

It's not your money, what do you care?
Dragonbaby seems to be a reputable localization company. Dismissing a game for having ESG consultants is understandable but the proof of the claim is somewhat questionable and isn't elaborated upon.

All the Curator group linked to not recommend the game was the credits.

Simplified Chinese Localization: Dragonbaby

CEOJeremy Blaustein
Global Head of LocalizationSam Burton
Localization Project ManagerTerri Desborough
Chinese Localization & LQALin Feiyang (Luminous), Ma Mofan (Sirius Wolf)

How does this keep happening?

So regardless of if anybody is doing a big list of traitors like OAG did in 2020, it seems that this little temper tantrum from SBI led to several people each doing their own independent research into similar companies(not to mention giving the steam group a much welcome boost in viewership) and became the hot media topic for grifters. That alone will keep this in the headlines for weeks if not month to come, and I don't even think we've truly begun.

You got to wonder if that SBI ceo is getting dirty looks and nasty messages from other industry peers right about now, that idiot ruined the gravy train for everybody by speaking the quiet part out loud. Personally, I hope that weebs use this momentum to go after the translators ruining their games and anime, it's just as bad there and I think the translator community is even worse than the DEI crowd in gaming. At least the latter don't care about video games and use them as an easy paycheck and a vehicle for propaganda, the translators are the kind of spergs who hate anime, japan itself and everybody who consumes their material, and just want to see it ruined. It's the kind of impotent seethe that you would expect from somebody holding a grudge at being shoved in a locker in high school 20 years ago to this day.

I should probably update this list with the likes of "Bearknuckles" and "Take This" that turned up and such, but this is what I've archived so far.
List said:
A list of the SBi members, and the games they have been credited in.

Here's a list of Sweet Baby-esque Consultation Companies:

Let me know if I missed any more

Focusing on just Sweet Baby is reductive, Kabrutus et al should focus their autism to find other companies that do the same thing, and include the games that have been "touched" by those in said curator group.

I disagree and Saul Alinsky (mastermind of leftist political tactics) agrees with me. Sweet Baby Inc might be just one of many companies doing the same thing but we focus on it because 1) it's easy and convenient for everyone sympathetic to the anti-woke cause to target a single entity and 2) it sends a message "you're next" to the others.

If we just use the scattershot method, we end up like dogs chasing multiple targets and people eventually get bored. I paraphrase Alinsky again, activism should be FUN. Everyone on the Internet shitting on Sweet Baby Inc? That is fun. And fun gives results (200000+ members on the Steam curator's list and growing still).

Better to cause lots of damage to 1 target than mildly inconvenience several. We identify a target, we take them down, then we move on to the next.

"Choose your target, isolate it, personalize it, polarize it". Make an example of the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter.

~ Saul Alinsky

Canadian public broadcaster CBC on their show "The Current With Matt Galloway" has decided to weigh in and help to further spread the lies of this entire debacle with a whole segment featuring some interviews with those who know the real conspiracy in the gaming world.

Damn it, I actually liked Reverie Under the Moonlight - did not know they made a sequel, and now I'm sad. Why must everything suck?
Steal everything first, sort it out later.

He's been doing localization for quite a while.

For the record, I am anti-localizer and they come from the same crowd as SBI and its ilk. Like journalists, they should be hated. This is the first time I've heard of Jeremy Blaustein.

I don't know much about him but my impression is that he is or was an average normal dude who works in the translation/localization industry, he is a straight talker, maybe a bit of a drama queen, he likes to huff his own farts and doesn't deal with fan criticism well. The biggest red flag however is that he seems get into conflicts with the higher ups (the game director, the original Japanese writer) and he seems to think he knows better than them. For maybe that reason, Blaustein was fired by Hideo Kojima after he translated and localized Metal Gear Solid for PS1.

As many of you anti-localizers may know, English translators/localizers of Japanese media have an unwarranted sense of self importance. They think their names are equal to the game director, or the writer, or the artist/character designer. They are mistaken: Ultimately, they are nobodies and they are replaceable. Localizers are dime a dozen but, love him or hate him, there can only be one Hideo Kojima etc.

Last but not least, Blaustein's oldest sibling is allegedly a troon!

Any Konami experts want to weigh in?

I think I'm missing how this is Gamergate 2.
>Don't support ESG/DEI pandering
>Companies don't listen to opinions on this, so best choice is to not buy
>Someone makes a convenient list that shows what games have a consulting company working on it
>People follow it so they know what not to buy
>There's some retards but it's mostly just "aight thanks"
>Consumers doing what they want with their money
>SBI: YOU'RE WHITE SUPREMACISTS AND SEXISTS AND HOMOPHOBES
It just seems like DEI/ESG golems are desperate to have a boogyman to fight against.
Or there could be hoards of retards turning this into a thing and I'm just keeping to myself and not noticing.
