The most exciting thing that I think is even possible happens is they send Fatty a Rule 11 letter around when they're drafting the 12(b)(6) that is almost an inevitability. The least exciting thing would be a settlement for nuisance value. More likely they just file the 12(b)(6) and it is granted in short order.

ISIS just took credit for that. And frankly my first thought was it was Putin false flagging or, if not that, then the Ukrainians had completely lost what was left of their minds.

While I could see ISIS falsely taking credit for it, I'm not seeing the benefit to them in doing something that would result in this not resulting in intensifying the Russia/Ukraine conflict, which I would think they'd want to keep going. So at least on first impression, I'm taking their word for it.

I would have thought that IS would rather side with Russia rather than enrage them, enemy’s enemy and all that.

But who knows? Maybe they think now getting closer to the west will benefit them in a potential WW3 scenario involving Russia and China v NATO and India.

ISIS have been fighting an insurgency in the Caucuses for several years. Not to mention large numbers of Chechens, who were veterans of the war with Russia, joined the Islamic State, and then returned home after it's collapse.
